I'd still say Liberty City though because it's NYC with just a little bit more humor and fun. Or any other GTA game works too.

the entire reason the radio is funny in GTA is that radio (and other media in general) in real life is just as inane, pointless and self-serving.

New Reno from Fallout 2 could be fun. Wouldn't mind a Steamwheedle Cartel port in Azeroth either. Rapture might have been cool before it all went to shit.

If I actually got to BE a major character (instead of an extra), I might have to say White Wolf's World of Darkness, either as a Mage or a Vampire. I know the setting's infested by fanboys and general idiocy, but I still find the concept interesting

Pokemon (it is Earth....right?), FFVII (Gaia, an alternate earth), or FFX (Spira, also presumed to be an alternate earth). Granted, that's only if I was a main character or something. Being an extra in any of those would suck.

My answer will never change for these threads: The Capital Wastelands, as the main character. I can take over a city, or organize a Super Mutant settlement in downtown DC...You know, make their version of Megaton.

If that'n doesn't work, then Tellius, or more specifically, Crimea. Learn magic, kill enemies...sounds fun.
