Asimov's world in The End of Eternity sounds nice. That's before some prick destroyed it.

You better hope you have the Doctor around for all his mcguffins and deus ex machinas. Otherwise, the world, and time itself, are pretty bond.

Well if I'm switching realities I assume that would be enough to grab his attention.

Probably. Then again, with what happens to most people he meets, I'm not sure if that would be a good thing or a bad thing.

Preferably a sci fi universe that isn't so dangerous or in danger in any way. (I trying to think of one.)

Yeah but between seeing every corner of the universe or living the rest of my life in 1/1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000th of it I'll take my chances.

One of the ones where not everyone has to take up arms in order to live normally. Mass Effect or Star Trek for example. Just like our world, only IN SPACE!

Just because I don't have any delusions about being put in a sci-fi setting and suddenly becoming awesome. I'd still be a useless waste of space spending all day posting on the internet, so why choose somewhere like Warhammer 40,000 where the only certainty is war and painful death?

I would live in the Sci Fi universe I created myself some years back.

A place with advanced technology and little violence, and an endless possibility to explore the galaxy.

And I would be the only human in the universe, which would be kinda awesome.

Babylon 5 because it's awesome.

Stargate SG-1 because it's awesome.

Aliens because they're awesome.

Star Trek because it's awesome.

Wait I'm seeing a trend... maybe I just really like SciFi.

Well, it is pretty awesome, no?

I'd go with Mass Effect probably. Imminent destruction aside it's a pretty nice place for humans, got lots of different races to make friends with, got my favourite aliens ever that look like Star Wars battle droids too :)

...which would you choose and why?

Inb4 Star Trek for the Holodecks. Because that's my answer.

Also, I want to see how they pull off that whole not using money thing.

Sure, the Borg could be an issue, but all I have to do is appear worthless and they'd leave me be. And once I found a holodeck, I pretty much would be.
Pretty much what you said. Star Trek. I'd be in it for the space exploration, though.

Well, you specified Sci-Fi and since somebody's already mentioned Cowboy Bebop, I guess Sci-Fi Anime is ok, so I'll go with Ghost in the Shell.

If that falls through, I'll take being a crew member of Serenity in Firefly :D
Ghost in the Shell, eh? Well, I must admit, having an augmented bionic body sounds pretty sweet. But I don't really like the idea that my brain could be hacked... Still, of all sci-fi universes I know, this seems like one of the better choices.
