Pretty much any Warhammer 40,000 book centered on the Space Marines. I am fully aware of the Dawn of War series, but an FPS would be great.
Firefly would be kinda cool (still cannot belive it was cancelled). Babaylon 5 would also be interesting. With A Battlestar Galactica game I think it would be interesting if you were actuallyin control of a survivor fleet, the stroy could be that unknow to the Galactica Survivor fleet a second fleet formed, but insted of finding Earth this fleet is trying to take back the colonys the control system for the game could be like Homeworld and with resources they could come in the form of mining asteroides for tylium and metal, going abord wercks and spacestation for salvage and occasionally finding another ship that survived the attack. Jerico (CBS 2007-2008 T.V series) could be an interesting game, but some parts of the story would have to be tweeked like the attack was more widespred and Citys globaly were attacked so there is a sorta Fallout fell to it, but you have to manage to keep you town/ city surviving through the aftermath and there is a sembalance of other people are surviving.
I agree, that would be fantastic; although, if you're willing to pass up the point and click thing, I think Alan Wake should come fairly close. No Double-R diner though. Still, with a bit of luck, no Little Nicky or Evelyn Marsh subplot either.Karmic said:

The Sicillian the game. I'm not sure how well the game version of it's predecessor, The Godfather, was recieved (trailer looked sweet), but The Sicillian has an entirely different world setup and objective.
It would be the only GTA open-world game ever where you are actually trying to win over the hearts and minds of the populace of several towns, and you're allowed to kill as many Carabinieri (Cops) as you want without ever damaging that goal. Additionally some serious work would need to be put towards a quality interface that allows you to quickly direct your entire group of bandits as it grows larger and larger, though certainly some of these men have independant streaks that manifest if left idle (Passatempto is a psychopath who kills innocents without your supervision, etc.). Only downer would be the ending, since your best friend Pisciotta kills you at the end... It worked for Portal.

I would choose the manga Loveless. I believe it would make a great RPG for the Wii, you could incorperate the Wii-mote into the Battlesystem.
Ohh and in theory you could allow people to form Units and duel online against each other.

I think the teen book 'Foundling' from the Monster Blood Tattoo series would make an awesome action adventure game.
The Age of Unreason Quadrillogy by Gregoy Keyes would make an interesting RTS/TBS.
Were it done right I would love to see The Three Musketeers adapted into a videogame of some sort. I'd want it to be like the movies directed by Richard Lester, basically a series of the strangest sword fights you've ever seen.
Lastly I would like to see the videogame equivalent of Tarsem Singh's "The Fall" or Terry Gilliams "The Adventures of Baron Manchausen", an ornately designed fantasy adventure full of creativity and strangeness.
