Third Person God-of-War-meets-Devil-May-Cry style hack and slasher based around my AIFP Death Edge, my equivalent of the grim reaper. You go around hacking demons and phantoms to death with a collection of bladed weaponry, elemental spells, and quick-timed supermoves eventually reaching the main bad guy who is essentially Edge's other half. The spells and melee attacks would be added to the combos via unlockable cards that you get as a reward for reaching certain experience levels. The cards may then be stacked to create a long chain attack that ends in a multi-enemy killing super move, the quick times for which would slow down time in game and have a 5-second timer, which sould give more than enough time for the brain to register which button you have to hit and hit it. Other charaters would be other gods, such as the rider of war, a moon goddess, an electric spirit, etc. The plot would be..... remarkably hard to put down in writing right now, but it all ends with Edge destroying his other self in a giant mecha style final boss fight. In addition, once the main game is complete, there would be a second, much shorter game unlocked that tell of Edge's origins, becuase I have it that he wasn't always the king of death. The levels would be absolutely gigantic in a sense of Just Cause 2 meets Okami, and offer several other worlds, such as the god realm and the under world, to explore, find more baddies, collect more souls, get more weapons, armor, spells, and techniques.
It all seems incredibly complex, and that's because it is. You could very easily make a great game off of what goes on in my head, and by GOD do I wish I cuold make it.
