Acting/lying - not the most honest craft yet it is my favorite. Who read The Name of The Wind knows why.

To program in all program languages, that would be awesome.
I guess that if you knew them all you would end up using 2, maybe 3 of them and also knowing the programming languages doesn't make you a good programmer.

WELL JIM FROM ACCOUNTING:

Have I got a tip for you.

pan seared ribeye in a Lodge, cast iron pan

Lightly salted (KOSHER) and brushed with extra light olive oil *high smoke point*. Sear 1.5-2 min per side on an ultrahot pan, flip again and transfer to hot oven to finish. 2-5 min depending on initial temperature and taste of guests. Season with freshly ground black pepper. I find preseasoning with black pepper increases smoke in substandard cooking environs.

Alton does a few other bits on the subject over the next 10 years.

If you could just snap your fingers and be the best you could ever be at something, what would it be?

For me it would probably be the bass guitar just because of how amazing a good bassist sounds.
I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was. Da da daaaaa

OT: Pokemon jokes aside, I'd go with martial arts.

For me it probably would be my art of snapping ones finger and become a master of anything in one day skill. It would help in those tight spots.

Why don't I just cut to the chase and say seduction. Honestly a lot of what you guys are thinking about is a roundabout way to pick up chicks. Don't deny it.

One of three things.

1. Language, because being able to walk up to anyone in any country, and speak to them in their language would be fantastic. The things you could learn.

2. Martial Arts, being able to defend myself and others. Can't go wrong with that.

3. Piano, as it is by far my favorite instrument, and watching a master play it is a great experience, so being able to share that with people would be awesome.

Self-discipline. I think a lot of my problems would be solved if I just had some damn self-discipline...

That's simple. I'd master the art of learning, if you want to take it a step further into fantasy real magic. You did say anything, after all.

Learning I feel doesn't need much explanation, you would perhaps not master something in a day (like learning) but you could say... learn a new language in a month, and then just keep doing stuff like that.

Magic, well why not?

Playing guitar. I'm saving up for an acoustic but I'm gonna have to teach myself as much as possible until I have the money and time for lessons. I'd love to be in a band. I don't care if it gets big or not but I'd just like to play maybe a few gigs a year or something.

I would master the focus and motivation required to master everything else. From there I would master one new skill daily until I eventually became an Ubermensch.
