If you could merge any two games what would they be?

Mass Effect 1 + Mass Effect 2

Please tell me thats what ME3 will be like. The epic large environments and RPG elements of ME1 with the tight gameplay of ME2. And I think a hybrid of the Mako and planet scanning would work quite well.

Hell, I'm hoping that Bioware eventually releases a game called "Mass Effect: The complete original trilogy"... a bit like how Star Wars was released... only the content of all three games is merged seamlessly into one, large, epic package.

i want to see some grimdark serious horror game turned into a kart racer - say, resident evil or silent hill crossed with diddy kong racing. i can see it now - nemesis in a hovercraft and hes just dropped a bubble in front of valentine, or a L4D boomer whizzing about in a bright green plane past some adorable cartoon dinosaurs. i would play the fuck out of that.

Devil May Cry and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Basically, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance with a MUCH IMPROVED fighting system. Stylish combat, intense difficulty, mission ranking system, character customization, 4-player co-op, what's not to love?

EDIT: Also, Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara and Exile 3: Ruined World. - Branching paths through levels, awesome beat-em-up combat, and cool secrets, combined with a huge open world, the gradual destruction of the world by rampaging monsters (to deter you from screwing around doing random side stuff for too long), character customization, and sweet magic spells? Awesome.

EDIT: Any RPG and Paper Mario. Action Commands > Random Chance. That, and I'd prefer to have more than 2 party members fighting at a time.
