If You Could Quick Save...

I don't think I've ever seen this before and it wasn't in the search so...


This thread is about if you could quick save in real life on command.

You can save anywhere you want, anytime you want and if something goes wrong, you can just load up your last save and redo it.

Whats the first thing you'd do?

As for me, I'd obviously use this power to test what pick up lines work. If one didn't just load up the save and start over again.

Sort of, but with this, you can just instantly go back rather then waiting a whole day.

I'd use it to win fights, save right before you get into one then re-load if you lose or if you don't like how it went.

Then after that, I'd probably just re-live days over to get more time out of them, because we all know there aren't enough hours in a day. I'd do all the useless stuff first, then re-load and do the important stuff, then more useless stuff.

Depends. Do I keep knowledge of whatever I do after the save? Like if I kicked someone and reloaded would I have memory of it? Since loading returns you to the point OF the save I don't think you would making this a very boring and dull thing to do. OTOH, if I DO retain all of that information, well....this just became the most abused thing ever.

Its interesting to see what people would do if they knew there are no consequences for their actions.

You don't know how often I've thought about this. Right before I do something I think "I should quicksave". So anywhere to picking up the ladies to doing a dangerous activity, or quick save right when I get home from school so I can just keep loading that file over and over again when I just want to stay home.

Quick save before going over to a girl in the pub. Then if you screw it up you can re-load to try again or try someone else

Well if someone annoys me I can save punc them in the face and reload and repeat until I am satified. Also I could then HAVE my cake and EAT it too.

I think truthfully I would have to satisfy my curiosity and see if dieing hurts and what happens afterwards then just quickload and everything is good again .

Julian, if I could do that I would be in Iraq. So I guess the first thing I would do is join the army go to Irag, when in battle quick save and when I get shot in the head, load up and go back to where I was and it would become a natural cycle.

What if you quicksave, and then do something shitty and quicksave by accident (oh it's happened so many goddamn times, never put the quicksave and quickload keys right next to eachother).
Other than that, money, women, hitting people.
Dieing to check out how the real afterlife is.
Oh, and keep replaying my holidays so that over and over until I complete every game and such.
