Half-Life 2, hands down. Nothing could express my wonder and amazement at seeing such a well-realized world for the first time. Nothing.
This is mostly what I was thinking. It's the story that does it for me. I still get absorbed by it but nothing like the first time I played. I was litteraly gob smacked my first time.

On that note it would also be Bioshock for the same reason. Mainly for that major twist that comes 2/3 of the way through.
Huh. I never really found the Half-Life story in general too interesting, but agreed about Bioshock.

Not even the end of episode 2? I was also including the episodes as well I just didn't mention it.

I found the story to be interesting all of the way through but that's different opinons for you. It just presented so many questions. (bearing in mind that I haven't played HL) Who and what were the combine? Who and what is the G-man? Who is Gordan and what did he do before? etc etc.

Oh, I was just referring to HL2, not the episodes. My bad.

I would definitely replay Mother 3 again for the first time. The story has a lot of things that make you go "wtf", and I'd love to see the shock on my face again.

Mass Effect 2 or Fallout 3. Just the breathtaking beauty and the sheer awe I had while in the games worlds.

Definitely Fallout 3.

i've easily spent more time on that game than any 10 others.

KOTOR. I have never experienced such an engrossing Star Wars tale in a video game before. Its story easily puts the prequels to shame, and it's on par with the classic trilogy. The plot twist caught me totally off guard. It was on the magnitude of Luke learning Vader's his father. It was just so unbelievably epic. There are subtle hints, but you'd have to be looking for them to get it. I would love to experience that slack-jawed astonishment again.

Portal.

The game was mindblowing and hilarious the first playthrough, but after all my playthroughs it's starting to dull...

Honestly, I'd want to do Flower. It was just so beautiful, and brilliant, and to feel what I felt the first time I played that would be fantastic. I reckon it's one of the best game's I've ever played.

Fallout 3. A game where exploration produces such a thrill is best enjoyed on the first playthrough. If I could, I would forget everything I know about that game just to get that back.

The Shadow Hearts Series, as I want to love it all over again. That, and the wait for a Shadow Hearts 4 won't be as long.

That, or Fallout 3. Man that game is huge as fuck.

Portal, I'd love to be able to forget how all the puzzles work so I can go through it once again figuring them out rather than just remembering them.

Also, Oblivion so that I can recapture that feeling of 'newness' that was present the first time I played it.
