Coheed and Cambria. I'm dying to see them, and I'd love the chance to tell Claudio in person how awesome his hair is.
I saw them play at Roundhouse. Kinda lame cos Claudio didn't speak to the crowd at all, only the bass player did.
In fact claudio looked like he didn't want to be there :(
Yeah, he looks like a miserable git. Maybe I'll talk to the rest of the band instead, *sniff*.

system of a down, Serj is amazing, and system was the best!
Agreed saw them at download in `05 and loved it ,not sure about Serj`s latest album largely because it`s jazz and it just doesn`t appeal to me (only heard the odd song mind)but he`s an odd man he does what he wants and who the hell am i to say otherwise?

Normally I'd say AC/DC, but I'm seeing them in February (YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!) so i'll instead say the Rolling Stones.

I would say Dream Theater but I've already met the Drummer and seen them live 4 times.

So I'll go with System of a Down... too bad they're on hiatus.

I would say Dream Theater, but meeting Liquid Tension Experiment(DT minus Myung plus Tony Levin) worked just as well for me.

So I will have to say Symphony X. Michael Romeo is a beast on guitar and Russell Allen has to be one of the most talented vocalists I have ever heard.

Probably In Flames for me, I have a feeling their concerts would be fantastic.
This, and Pink Floyd, the emotions I feel when watching Pulse, incredible!

Probably Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. I've never seen them live, and I've heard that they put on some of the best live shows of any currently touring band.

There are a couple of bands that I would love to have the chance to see. They're broken up but I'd love to see/hang with them afterwards. They are as follows:

A Global Threat - They are a street punk band originally from Maine but centered in Boston. They play pretty hard, fast and [towards the end] very well. I've seen them live twice before but when I was really most into them they posted on their Myspace that they had broken up. The singer, Bryan Lothian, is a personal hero of mine and the music he's currently making on his own is very good, in addition he donates almost all the money from his new music project to charities around Boston. I'd love to see them play one more time and hang out for a few beers afterwards.

At the Drive-In - So once upon a time the main members of the bands Sparta and the Mars Volta were part of the same band called At the Drive-In. They're in my top 5 bands of all time and their album Relationship of Command is my all time favorite album. Needless to say the singer and lead guitarist (Cedric and Omar of the Mars Volta) are insane live performers and I'd absolutely jump at the opportunity to see them performing some of my favorites live. As for hanging out with them afterwards, I think it could be cool. Back in the early 2000s the band did a lot of heroin but come the break-up they were clean. All-in-all I'd pretty much piss myself given this opportunity.

If it has to be someone who is still recording and performing?

Hands down: Chali 2na. My all time favorite rapper, former member of Jurassic 5, one of my favorite hip-hop groups. He seems like an incredible individual and the chance to see him live and chill with him afterwards would definitely be something. Seeing J5 before they broke up would have also been good enough for me.
Honorable mention to Blackalicious and The Krum Bums.

Nirvana. I just became a fan, and Kurt died when I was two years old. Knowing that they were still around when I existed adds a wierd sense of cosmic irony to it.
