If you could see yourself living off one food for the rest of your days, what would it be?

Apricot brandy and some venison. If possible, a side of canned beans.

I'd be set for life.

Hell no! I need variety in my diet.
I can't even eat my favorite foods more than two nights in a row without getting sick of them!

Flan is Destiny
I was gonna say I've never actually tried flan LOL but I don't know; would you say cheesecake would be part of the flan family? Apparently quiche is haha so I don't see why not. I always thought it was a nice desert anyroad!
It's a quote, actually - obscure, but fitting. :)

Reading this... It makes me wonder how many Escapists are overweight...
Lol.
Anyway, I could live off chicken and rice... if I had too... but I wouldn't be happy about it.

Probably some form of seeds or nuts. Preferably a variety of nuts and seeds all together in a meal. Like Sesame Seeds and Pumpkin Seeds eaten together become a total super food!

Steak and Bacon.

A store near my house even sells Steak wrapped in Bacon, so I could live on them.
I'll pray for your colon!

OT: A pasta dish that I make from scratch (except the cheese, that's a bit beyond me) with the following ingredients: pasta, pesto, cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes, peas & bacon.
When I was in jail I saw a prisoner making Cheese. He got some milk and a sock and basically let it go off then filtered out the curds. I'm not too sure what else he did with it but it smelt really bad.

I could live off potatos. You can do so much with them! Chips, Wedges, Mashed, Baked, Hash browns!

A Subway sammich. Hearty Italian bread, cheese, lettuce, plenty of gherkin, cucumber, maybe tomato or green paper, salt, Light Mayo and Southwest sauces.

Om-nom-fucking-nom.

mmmm only about half that sounds good though that's because you have stuff on there I don't eat....

I'll go with Subway too

Either Italian bread or Honey Oat(really depends on my mood), pepperjack cheese, lettuce, bacon, cucumber, pickles, olives, mayo, mustard, salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar *heaven* damn it now I'm hungry. Subway why are you not open at 230 am?

Chick-fila chicken biscuit. Unfortunately I can't have them very often since the only place I ever visit that has Chick-filas is my hometown, and I'm almost never there.

So he did! Ugh, I dunno... they just look so nasty to me but as they say, don't knock it til you've tried it, haha. Though I'll have to really, really motivate myself! Lol!
Yes... yes, you did LOL. I can't remember who told me to try that but I've done it for years though I don't eat out of McDonald's very often, haha. Which is good! It's not particularly classy, haha!
Haha, speaking of being Chinese, I still need to visit my Cantonese friend at work. Apparently her parents would let me have a free dinner :D I love Chinese food so much though I usually only take a chicken curry with rice. Better than either of my siblings though; all they would ever take is a curry or gravy chip! For shame! Anyroad, yeah, I would agree with that actually. There used to be a sushi restaurant right beside the Waterfront Hall over here but if my knowledge is correct, it's closed down now I think. It was mega expensive though... so much so that I don't even want to think about it! Aw man, I would believe that. The amount of crazy fish they've got! Australia is really started to sound better than Finland now minus all the amplified by 100 in size creepy crawlies. And speaking of sushi, I'd have to try very hard not to remember that this wee fella is lurking about in the Australian ocean: blobfish [http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&cp=30&gs_id=5&xhr=t&q=beef+sauerbraten+with+spaetzle&gs_sm=&gs_upl=&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&biw=1280&bih=678&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi#um=1&hl=en&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=Blobfish&oq=Blobfish&aq=f&aqi=g10&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=19085l19085l0l19557l1l1l0l0l0l0l193l193l0.1l1l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=61297843d1ac0df7&biw=1280&bih=678] As lazy as they are ugly!

LOL, I find that the meatballs they use aren't very... solid! They're kinda... smushy, though granted last one I had was some... gawd blimey, years ago, now.

Anyways, after a short while of working where I currently work, my colleagues have instilled a sense of 'food snobbery' in me, so I cook for every meal. And given the prevalence of pizza around here, the lab's resident Italian makes the most delectable pizza's (and often out of whatever's handy, almost regardless of what it is). So much so that basically around us, if you want good food, don't buy it, make it yourself!

And how did you get yourself the free Chinese meal? A lot of my parents' friends are typical Chinese restaurateurs and I am yet to get myself a free meal!

Cow. It contains all you need! Fat, protein, and some carbs from the milk. I think you could stay pretty healthy on that diet too. Look at the Inut:
"According to Edmund Searles in his article "Food and the Making of Modern Inuit Identities," they consume this type of diet because a mostly meat diet is "effective in keeping the body warm, making the body strong, keeping the body fit, and even making that body healthy"."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inuit_diet

A only noodle diet would probably kill you. to get the minimum ammount of protein you body needs, about 60g (0.8g per kg), you would have to eat about 15 packs of noodles a day. Which would net you 15900mg of sodium (DRV 2500mg). It would also make you fat, since to meet the protein quota you would net a total of 4500 calories, which for anyone sedentary is about 2000 calories over the top.

Damn, hard fucking question right here.

Erm, I'd pick Tacos, I have a huge obsession with them as of late and not being American and simply being able to go to a Taco Bell etc. makes them even better when I have them. So, yes, I shall go with them.
