Honestly, studying rarely helps me with anything. The few times I've studied my marks have been almost exactly the same as usual. If I can get an 80 without trying, why bother putting a lot of effort into it.

So I'd rather do something more interesting during class, depending on how my mood is. Like doodling and learning Russian.
I did that too :D I went through a phase where I'd print out phrase sheets and would pull them out randomly and be like "hey I'm learning Russian!" I now know Cyrillic and a few Russian phrases and words.

It's a hovercraft full of eels.]

My grades reflected it though. I was probably a C-/D+ average that year. I only stepped it up to a C- average (only just passing) in my final year, seems it was too hard to get out of the habit of making excuses to lose motivation and procrastinate when I hadn't worked hard my entire school life. Well, unless you count trying to absorb the specifics of the content the night/morning before exams.

I think if the teachers actually made all the exams harder rather than having tempted us to gamble on whether or not the exam was written to let us bluff our way to a C I would have been motivated to try.

Hehe, I like it. I have finals next week and I'm exempt from 6 out of 7, I would be from all if I wasn't late to school every morning! So that means I have roughly a B average. I like to think I'm lucky. >.>

i love you for uploading this... i love you so much

my teachers always told me never to cram before an exam, but in all honesty i always did and it worked a charm! particularly for my history exam on the civil rights movement (which i apparently got a perfect on, though i think they may have been humouring me) but it was a high A

Is that so? How did I get past all of Highschool with 80's and 90's then?

[sub]Studying is necessary for some people, not for others. I only ever needed to study for math.[/sub]

dont think so. studying does near nothing for me in anything.

as long as you pay attention in class and occasionally brush up (in physics/statics/dynamics/calculus/etc..) with some problems your good to go.

sure i dont have an A in every single class,(mostly B's) but mustering forth the effort to get those trick questions right requires reading the whole bloody textbook which i refuse to do.

Awww he got put on probation. I got a giggle out of it.

But I disagree, I've never sat down and studied and achieved solid B grades and an A. I don't condone it though, you feel crap all the way up to the exam.

I am aware of this. Hence the last minute panic I am experiencing because I haven't studied at all for my exams which start in 3 days.
Where do you live that exams are coming up?
