I'd go to England, April 1st, 1912 with a peroid-looking but modern tech video camera, a pressurized preservation case and some valuable items.

I'd sell/trade the valuable items for a 2nd class ticket aboard Titanic, and take footage of the stops in Europe, the near-miss with the New York, the sailing, shipboard life, crew, passengers, the iceberg, the evacuation, the bullshit in 3rd class, the sinking, the sounds of the dying in the water and the rescue.

Upon reaching New York, I'd put the tape/disc in the preservation case, hide that somewhere, and kill myself.

I'd go to the time when I have a girlfriend. *Cries over lonely-ness, again.*
I would do that. But thanks for reminding me of my lonlieness. *sigh*
God dammmiiiiiiiiiiit! Now I'm lonely too. This is where the time machine comes into play, as I'm almost certain that going back to last Friday would enable me to no longer be lonely. *sad*

I'd go into the future to a period when man has invented the two way time machine. Then I'd find out what the future holds, jack a time machine and cheese it when the time cops come for me. Hum... time cops [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2lrPc7c65I].
WHY WHY DID YOU JUST MAKE ME NOSTALGIA SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

/cries in the corner because life doesn't seem as awesome as it was at 7
There, there, its okay. *uses one way time machine to take Soigieoto back to his childhood*

I'd return right in front of a news networks cameras in 1999, so that everyone knows I'm from the future, and I'd tell them all "Don't vote for Bush." Also, "kill Osama now."

Just reading all those who said theyd go back to medieval times with loads of technology to rule the world......how exactly would that work without electricity?
Guns don't need electricity. Neither do modern metals once their forged. And in medieval times you could always use slave labor to power a small turbine and generate electricity.

I'd go to the patent office and copy a bunch of patents then go back to a few years before work started on them and "invent" the items in question and make a fortune on patents.

Easy, far enough forward that they have invented two way time machines =p, failing that far enough forward that they have medical treatments that let you live forever.

Good idea, I'd got back to 9/10 and place a very large bet that the towers would no longer be standing in two days in one of those we take bets on anything betting shops. Imagine the payout you could get from that.

I'd go back to just after I graduated High School (2 years or so). I'd bring Lotto numbers, a sports almanac (Back to the Future Style), and my Laptop with me (I don't want to have to re-download the crazy amount fo everything I've downloaded). Yeah.
...
...
Assuming that I am seperate from my past self, I would probably throw some money (remember, sports almanac and lotto numbers) to my family, without them knowing it was from a future me... this is getting confusing.

I would hold onto the machine until I grow quite old, go back like 5 minutes after I found the machine, use it, grow old again then do the same thing again and again until I get bored.

Oh and I shall wear my Paradox-Retardant suit beforehand which will let me live unaffected by all Paradox's I will no doubt create.

And the hate.

I'd go to myself when I was younger and tell the younger me some things to do differently that I feel would have made my life better. I would not be rich, but Id be happy-ish...(hopefully anyways x_x)

I'd stay here to be honest. It's pretty fun right now.

And as for the machine itself, I'd sell it for a pretty penny.

Back, but I'd take every cent I have and invest it into Microsoft back when a single share cost only about 2 dollars. I'd be a bazzillionaire today.

I'd go back in time to when the sun were warm, the wind were my friend and the earth were inhabited by goodness and purity of heart. I'd bring a pair of pants, an embracing smile and a teary eye.
