if you had a Portal Gun, what would you do?

One portal at home, one at work, bye bye commuting time. Save myself a lot of money on transport that way.

Also would be a great tool for loading equipment into venues.

Realistically (and if it didn't use energy too much) I'd give it to people who would make an endless energy supply with it.

Otherwise I'd try the OP's method (though it would take a very long time), but only if the portal gun could make portals on non-flat surfaces.

It would also be great for traveling - you leave for a long trip and leave a portal in your house, so you can return home anytime.

Simple. I would use it to get revenge on my brother. taunt him, then when he tried to get me, shoot a portal above and below him and watch him fall for about 10 minutes, then slam him into the ground. I'd get away with it cause they wouldn't be able to figure out how he died from falling at terminal velocity into the floor, from inside. Fun for us all... Nah, i'm kidding, I'd just use it for a quick exit to the bathroom.

I think i would put one portal just centimeteres above the source of the BP oil spill and another portal on the surface of the sun. "spill that bitches!"

That or put one portal in my garden and one in australia then skydive into it and just fall through the world.

I would create a trap

Put a Portal onto the ground, another in the ceiling,and then drop a knife through.

I would also put one in-between walls, and then shoot a bullet through.

I would then be the first person to watch a bullet die off
