You mean you'd use it as fuel for a potato-powered rocket? I understand the Germans tried that once.

Maybe some day...straight to the moon.

I'd boil it, peel it, then leave it in the fridge overnight. The next day, I would cut it into thick slices (about 5mm) and fry them to a light brown while sprinkling them with salt and chervil (my favourite spice herb.) Yum!

If I had a potato? dude I've got a whole bag. I can mash 'em, fry 'em, hash 'em, bake 'em, au gratin 'em... So many ways to make potatoes awesome...
In this scenario, there can be only one. See, DvS has got the idea:

I hate scenarios... Its why I suck at RTS games.

One day... one sweet day potatos will get there. And from there they will go further and further until one day all we know and love are potatos

I believe this experience has sprouted something in me. Tomorrow I will go to the store and I will buy seed potatoes. I will plant them and water them and periodically cover them with just enough soil so that they will grow strong and their number will be beyond counting. No blight shall strike them down and no enemy shall they fear. They shall lie dormant until the time comes to release my bastard child of the earth upon the timid and the quaking.

Mark me: there shall be... a potatoning.

Steamed is really good... not sure if I'd do that, or mash it up, mix it with egg and flour to make some gnocchi.

COR BLIMEY! that's quite the potatoning! They shall be the most fearsome potatos to behold! But surely one man cannot have that much power? The world shall crumble beneath the power of the potato.

I for one welcome our new spuddy overlords!

I will NOT eat it raw.

Like, the worst fucking idea I've ever come across.

I follow the old saying:

When life gives you a potato, make potatoade.
you are fantastic!

If I also have some sour cream, bacon, and onion for spargutas (never seen it spelled out, just spoken so sp? but it is pretty much bacon bits (w/ grease), sauteed onion and sour cream), I'd make Cepelinai, they are amazing and it is fun to completely destroy the potato and then reform it to look pretty much exactly like a potato again (but skinless), pretty much just to achieve uniform shape and texture.

I'd roast it, and when it's golden crispy on the outside but soft and floury on the inside I'll cut it into quarters and drop a serving of butter into it while it's hot and let it melt. Yum.

I'll also season the peelings and fry them for a delicious crispy snack.

I'm Irish... we know how to maximise a potatoes potential.
