I've spent a lot of time watching TED Talks [http://www.ted.com/], and I'd like to see members of The Escapist do their own.

So, if you had ≈ three paragraphs to say whatever you wanted to say to the entire world, what would you say?

Edit: It doesn't have to be exactly three paragraphs. Thats just a guideline, like parley.

This sentence counts as a paragraph.

So does this one, and the next one.

I am too lazy to write an entire TED talk, even if it is short.

I am suddenly enlightened.

white people please dont grow dreadlocks, they dont make you seem worldly or whatever you think, it just makes you look like a douche.

bring vanilla coca cola to every country in the world, its the best thing in the world!, also we need more vinegar chips, enough with the sour cream and onion already.

be nice to each other, and allow gay marriage, seriously.

yeah, theres a reason I'm never invited to TED.

"My Name is Susan Evelyn Schulz, and I am an example that even those in hopeless situations can turn out alright.

I lived without parental support since I could speak coherent sentences and have relied on my aunt to teach me the basics to live alone. I also have my loving boyfirend and hopeful future husband Michel Goodridge to thank for putting so much joy into my life, and showing me that some of the greatest people in the world have had ones they love at their side. I'd also like to thank the whole of Anonymous for taking me in and showing me how to survive on the Internet, and providing me with many lulz. And last of all I'd like to thank the people of the great community of the Escapist for taking me and showing me such kindness. All of these people have shaped me into who I am today, and I have become a better person because of their support. So that just goes to show you, even if you do live in the worst place on earth with the worst upbringing possible, you can still be a good person.

And as I leave I wish to make a request to all the viewers: I sincerely urge you to please... take up a gun, and go hunt down whoever spawned Furseiseki."

Something like that. I just thought it up as a wrote.

I would tell them about the game. That way I can get everyone playing and make everyone in the world lose at once.

To all the able people of Earth, I ask a question:

Do you have, or are you currently trying to find a solution to whatever problem you're bitching about? Are you willing to work toward fixing it?

If you answered no, then shut the fuck up and quit wasting everyone's time. There's no point in complaining if you don't intend to actually do anything.

That was rather touching. Very nice post.

I've felt the same way about the escapist, it's like a little internet refuge.

Life can be very cruel sometimes and things that happen as a child stay with you forever. But it can lift the spirit to know other people have overcome hardships like yours.

Well, I'll give it a shot then!

Dear world,
If I've learned one thing in my life, it's that the only thing that really grants you freedom is knowledge. For me, even to know that you're imprisoned is freer in retrospect than being blissfully ignorant. You can learn so much from a good book, it's worth a thousand seminars to a pictures thousand words. But even if you give everyone in the world that good book, there are thousands of other good books that those people haven't read.

But, if you give a person a computer connected to the internet, you give him all of the information in the world at his fingertips. He can download any book, look up any intellectual topic, and see what's going on around the world every day.

My point, is that technological advancement, and the proliferation of technology, are the keys to improving our knowledge, which is the key to global improvement.

This goes out to everyone everywhere and they all can read it despite language differences?
It depends on the message of delivery really.
If it's like a radio broadcast that everyone listens to for some reason or a letter that is sent out to everyone, probably a 3 paragraph "Hey world, you're fucked up. Fix it."

If it's by some sort of magic telepathy crap it would probably be a 3 paragraph "I AM THE ONE TRUE GOD! WORSHIP ME AND GIVE ME ALL YOUR SHIT!"

"Ladies and Gentlemen, The Game."

Then I would bast in my glory of having caused the entire world to lose The Game.

Edit: Ninja'd. It appears as if there is more than one Evil Mastermind here at the Escapist. A fight to the Death!
