I like how my band of assassins has the capacity to time travel, but use this infinitely useful power solely to kill important people. Furthermore, they don't even employ any initiative - for some reason, I'm deciding who they're going to kill.
Fuck that! If I'm sending people back or forwards in time, I'm not gonna be killing anyone on the way. God knows what that could do! I'll only go forwards, and I'll stay there so as not to break anything in the present. Maybe I'll pull a Fry and Farnsworth and just keep going forwards until I find one I like.

I'd send them to kill Hitler before he, you know, did all that stuff. I'd send them to prevent the Rwandan massacre, and all the other atrocities since the beginning of time.
And then I'd send them to murder every single incompetent (kind of a redundant in this case) politician in existence. Or maybe not murder... they are assassins, but they don't need to kill them, they just need to make them stop being such dumb ****** *******.

off topic: if you kill Hitler at the right time, before he starts bussing Jews off to concentration camps, he gets remembered as the leader of the Nazi party who pulled the country together economically. if he gets knocked out of the way, there is a chance that someone more prejudiced takes office. or perhaps less prejudiced. there's no way of knowing since it didn't happen. that could mean that Germany was on our side because the USSR invaded Poland because the nonagression pact might not have been signed

or, more interesting, assassinate the leadership in Carthage while Hannibal was dicking around in Italy. the new leader might have been less reluctant to send the needed troops to properly squash rome (Hannibal took in all the troops he ever had: he didn't have enough to lay siege to Rome but he could defeat pretty much any moving army the senate threw at him), meaning Carthage would have had a decent shot at winning the 2nd Punic War

well if these are going to be the asscreed assassins then i will merely walk around and "sniperstorm" anyone i dont like. maybe ill send them back in time to kill the director of assassins creed 1 and then we wouldnt even have this thread.

Also, I don't start wars like all the time. Does that mean people are going to remember me as a great person?
