If you had the ability to switch your gender?

I'd switch gender whenever anybody I was talking to looked away for a moment.

Ugh finally someone in this entire thread that understands the difference between gender and sex.

Seriously guys you're not going about this right at all.

Gender refers to the mental state, do you feel like you are a girl, or a man, or do you feel that perhaps your would do better as the opposite of yourself. This is why we call it gender confusion people.

Sex refers to the physical state of your body. Do you have breasts and a vagina. 99% of the time this means you are indeed physically a female. Do you have a penis and testicles? Physically, most of the time, that means you are a male.

So after a small clarification rage there, I'll move to the topic at hand. Would I change my gender? Not a chance in hell self induced gender confusion doesn't sound fun, changing my sex and gender for a moment would be interesting, as long as I was able to change back.

Ok clearly they meant sex so why nitpick over it? I've seen the terms used interchangeably all the time.

Changing gender would be one hell of a mind trip and would get a deep discussion going (i.e. are you still you if your personality has shifted in such a way).

Because

1. Its wrong, why would I encourage the continued obsolete definition of a word

2. I'm a psychology student so its really annoying to see from my perspective

As your question asked whether I would change my gender, no, I would not use the ability to switch my gender.
In fact, if most of the people here knew the difference between sex and gender, they probably wouldn't either.
