Thats a good one... both are really solid games, and you have multi. for both...

Thats hard man...but I would have to say TF2 also.

If this were real, we would have quite the TF2 lobby.

And then you could download other maps that people made with the map editor...then mods....ui patches...

Man, I love me some Warcraft 3...

Been looking at this thread all night, thinking.

We're basically picking our favorite games.

Hm.

Going with Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Loved the game, and it has a lotta play time.
I also have been thinking that... so im going to break the mold...

My 5 non fav. games, that I would play on an Island.

--------------------------------------------------------------

1. X-Com

2. Doom 2

3. Zelda: OoT

4. Mario 64

5. Judging by my avatar: Grim Fandango.

--------------------------------------------

and the winner that would get to go to the island with me is:

Number 3, come on down!!!

Ocarina of Time has so much Replay Value for me it's astounding. I never loved it, so its not in my favorite games its a good game, that I had fun with.

Oblivion, based on the fact that even now I haven't finished the goddamn game. If I had a year to just play that, I suppose I wouldn't die of boredom. Either that, L4D or GTA IV...for some reason I never get tired of those games.

Wait if we were playin games from the future there would be no-one on multiplayer unless the timemachine was connected to the internet. if that is the case i would take back my last post and get something like Diablo 3, Gears of War 3, or Halo:Reach so i could become so good that i can rape any of those robots that has taken over the future WORLD!!!

Team Fortress 2 for the PC. That game is not only awesome, but extremely deep and infinitely replayable (with your magical island internet connection, anyway).

Either that or Garry's Mod for Half-Life 2. I'm sure that would keep me busy for quite a while.

Yeah. Now if it were two games then those would definitely be the ones.

Probably Warioware: DIY if it counts. I think I'd have more fun being able to create something of my own than playing someone else's creation, whose limits I would inevitably run up against.

Failing that, I'd be tempted to go with something like a fully patched version of The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall (twice the land area of Great Britain, baby!)

I'd take Combat Arms. Its an extremely addicting MMOFPS that I'm not playing right now thanks to maintenance.

Or Dawn Of War. Or Kotor.

Freedom Fighters, i can play that game constantly and it never gets too boring. I like trying to complete sections in awkward ways such as storming he firestation in the early part of the game without taking out the helicopter protecting the area.

proabley Super Smash Bros Brawl. this isn't my favorite game out there (i actually don't own it or a wii but my roommate does) but it is pretty fun and i can spend hours just playing against bots or creating levels or re-playing story mode. It's really hard to get bored of Brawl so if had to stick with one game for a year it would likely be Brawl.

Anything for the PS3. I honestly don't care what; I'm not actually going to play the game for long (compared to how long I'm stuck on the island) so I figure the PS3 is the biggest console, thus giving me the highest chance to brain some animal with it and make bone weapons. Then I'll use the game disk for a reflector or something.
