Hmm, considering i get some sort of magical time machine in this dilemma, which can get me games not yet invented, i've probably take some sort of Holodeck.
I'm quite sure i can entertain myself for 3 years that way.
Sure there's the occasional mishap which makes the safety locks turn off, But That Just Adds To The Fun!

*three years later* "Uhhh, sir? We're here to rescue you?"
Screw that! Giant mecha robo lincoln is swatting japanese zero's out of the sky while Klingon's invade Nazi Germany, and i just totally stole Eva Braun from Hitler after giving him a vicious 3 hour noggie, I'm set.

Dragon Age 2...but only if I know ahead of time that it won't be crap...if it will be then I'm bringing Tales of Symphonia, I can play that game again and again and again. I have no idea why though.
Dragon Age 2 or Tales of Symhonia....

Thats a hard one..

*Rubs chin in frustration*

I would pick something infinite like Tetris.
My God! You would get so good at Tetris. I think I'd pick either, and I'm going in two wildly different directions here, Dragon Age 2 (all praise to the time machine) or Chessmaster for the Xbox 360. Dragon Age 2 would be a huge world with so much to do and jammed full with interesting characters, so it would likely keep me occupied for a long time, but Chessmaster would never lose my interest (who gets tired of chess?), and I could play it online and solve chess puzzles all the time. Yeah, I'm going with Chessmaster.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The plethora of crazy mini games alone would keep me entertained for quite some time, plus the story is also the longest of all the GTA I'm pretty sure. Oh yeah I'd need the Hot Coffee mod too.

Did you know that Project Snowblind was originally intended to be a multiplayer three-equel to the Deus Ex series? (No wonder why I liked it so much!)

And I will def. check out Battle Zone.

Why not Warcraft 2?

or Final Fantasy 8

or Gears of War 2...

You pick the opposite of all my favorite games dang-it..
Warcraft 2 is my second favourite game of all time but Warcraft 3 has more to do overall, thus it keeps me engaged for longer.

FF8 for me never lived up to the standards of the others of the first 9 it was my least favourite by far but 6 was the first I ever played and I got 7 the day it came out in England and I still have my original save file even after all these years.

And GoW 2 I hated the multiplayer, and half the guns didn't work I still spend most of my time when I'm on live slaughtering people on GoW 1.

Reasonable, but If I were to choose a GTA game, I would pick IV with the two expansions...

I would pick anything with chat so I can be picked up early, so I can go home and play actual games I like.
Ok, the is electronic interference associated with chat, so you can play online games, but all non-game related chat and talking, is strictly prohibited...
Aw... what? C'mon! What are you? Mr. Roarke? The DARMA iniciative?
How's this; you get in contact on the first day using your connection to the internet. It takes 3 years for them to find you. How do you pass the time in between?
C'mon, we have Time Machines for goodness sakes!

I think we would have selective E.M.P. waves...

Thats my years of watching SYFY talkin'
Just because you have a time machine doesn't mean that everyone has access to them...

Perhaps you're a genius from the future who travels back in time with a great game then the power source runs out early due to a miscalculation andc we don't have the technology to generate enough power to get you back to the future (Har har!). It will take you 3 years to build the components using coconut husks and palm fronds. You brought one game back... what is it?

I'm going to have to say COD: WaW. On PS3.
It's got a great single player campaign, online level grinding in multiplayer and of course infinite rounds of Nazi Zombies for when I feel like a change. Practically 3 games in one!

EDIT: Or Warzone Tower Defence. I know it's a basic as flash game, but fuck me I could waste so much time on that thing.

Finally some Flash Game love, I was waiting for a T.D. fan...
I kinda keep that hidden lol It's like my secret gaming shame! Awesome concept though, I wish they would release an offline version though.

Oh yeah. The game I pick.

Well if I hadn't played it to death already... GTA: San Andreas. I played that for more than 3 years anyway. But I've already done pretty much everything imaginable.

If I could play Co-Op then Dynasty Warriors. But I can't play Co-Op on my own.

Can't have WoW.

Warcraft 3 with various TD maps, Zombie Survival Maps, and of course DotA.
