I'd take Halo Reach. I say Halo reach because of all the fun I had with Halo 3 with its awesome MP and forge, custom games and theatre, I can only imagine Reach will be better.
Woo Hoo, I will fire up the Time Machine immediately!

I would bring [PROTOTYPE], because you could play it forever and it's freaking fun. 1 thing though: Could I have all my music ripped to my 360 so I could listen to it while playing? The sandbox can get boring without rock music.
Yes, you can have your Rock music...

May I ask what sort of bands you have on there?

If any and all DLC could be included for free I'd probably go with either Fallout New Vegas or Halo Reach. Espcially New Vegas seeing how Fallout 3 kept me occupied for a hundred hours easy and that was before Operation Anchorage and don't even get me started on Hardcore Mode and Multiple paths. And Halo Reach Because its Bungies Last Halo game for either ever or a long ass time and Bungie goes all out with thier post launch DLC support
I would Pick New Vegas...thats just me...with the DLC that will probabaly come out.

Suggestion that no one has posted:

Earthbound, because I would like to play it, and what better place to start a new playthrough than on a desolate island?

None such other I say!

Most likely StarCraft.

I play that game about once a month or so already with old friends when theyre out of town- so I imagine that would be best, since I would also be doing other things on this magical island, thankful that I wouldn't have to worry about food or Smoke Monsters though

Something with a very high replay value. I'm thinking about either Advance Wars or Worms Armageddon. Worms never gets old. If you think so, you add a new team of enemies/people you don't like and can start from scratch again.

Probably some online shooter or RPG which you can interact with others.I don't think there is a point to get a single player game if you have internet connection available. The game will get boring and repetitive at a certain point.

So something like a L4D or CoD should do the trick.

My 2 cents.

i'd choose either Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (piss around a lot) or COD 5 (never tire of annoying Boosters).
You never tire of boosters???

Wow, I haven't met someone with similar views to mine in Boosting, and plus: it's just more fun killing them!
that's exactly what i mean (some people...) about annoying them. by taking there kill streaks. what else would i do if i ran in front of them they'd shoot me. i mean you'd be a retard to do that

No computer on site, but you said any console. Why not a computer game? Shattered Horizon

Mass Effect 1. I love that game and I could easily play it and only it for a year.

Ooh, wait, using the might power of the time machine. I would also choose the inevitable Ratchet and Clank PS3 collection.

Gotcha Force.

It allows you to pitch 12 inch high robots in insane fights against each other in places like school rooms or a bedroom, whilst trying to collect every of the over 200 robots, each with weird and unique quirks.

Most addicting game I have ever played, I have bought it twice due to selling the old copy then realising what an idiot I was, and each time I played through every single part of the story at least 30 times =D.

*Is now heavily considering buying a Gamecube and a copy of this game again*

The Game. I could play that thing forever and never quite win!

but seriously, MW2. Could spend forever on it (providing that said internet connection is epically fast so it's permanently 4 bars)

Mainly whatever type of rock I'm in the mood for when playing. Sometimes some good old classic rock, sometimes heavy metal, depends on what I feel like doing in the game. I could consume an old lady, take her appearance, kill a soldier, steal his RPG launcher, and go around killing people as an old lady with an RPG. Or, I could fly around and save innocent civillians from zombies.

Either Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto 4, or Saints Row. Gotta love me some sandbox games.

Starcraft II. Since the map editor is effectively part of the game, and is very powerful, there's hardly any limit to what I could do with it.
