Either one of three groups:

The cast of Persona 4 (that includes the fox)

The Task Force 141... that survived

The Sex Bobombs

My avatar being what it is, I guess I am obliged to at least try making a scenario for a B5 victory:

1) Centauri. Warp in one drone vorchan cruiser and initiate the bonehead maneuver. (opening a jumpgate inside of a jumpgate) Hell will be wiped out in the resulting blast with no Centauri deaths.

2) Minbari. Just send in a lot of Nial fighters, I guess? Those things are absolutely lethal.

3) Thirdspace Aliens. Half of hell attacks the other half due to mind control. If they can establish a foothold in Hell, it's all over, because they control an entire galaxy.

On a side note, am I the only one who found it funny that the Gundum person accused the culture person of 'godmodding' when he just kept on repeating 'kilometer long blade' to anything anyone said?

Surprised nobody's mentioned the Catholic church yet... herp a derp.

I like the idea of going in with something from 40k, but I'm stuck between everything that fought in the name of Horus from the Herasy onwards, the Tau, or an absolute shit load of Dark Eldar.

Would be quite nice to see how long the railgun-brigade lasted. (I'd stay the hell out of there and just watch through the eyes of a drone or something.)

Its hard to formulate a plan without understanding exactly what the field of battle would be. I mean are we all going to be meeting up on an open plain, head to head? Do I have to storm a gate? Or is it going to be a case of busting in where I can and fighting in corridors?

To be honest I'd sooner just seal the place up and forget about it - once all the demons are dead, Hell just becomes a very hot empty place. Short of using it to host barbeques and saunas, Im not sure what I'd use it for.

My army is Dante. Devil May Cry Dante, mind you. That's all I need. As for strategy... do I even need one?!

By the way I'm pretty sure someone has already mentioned him in one of these 8 pages so my apologies.

Commander Shepard and the crew of the Normandy. He would probably recruit some of the demons to the cause.

One option immediately comes to mind: The Zerg. They're already relentless and they breed like space-rabbits. Plus, when they start killing demons, they'll incorporate the demon DNA into the swarm

I'd be tempted to choose the Malazan Army, specifically the Bridge Burners, from the Malazan Book of the Fallen series. In addition to their standard weapons of swords, bows, axes, etc. and explosive weapons (simple clay encased grenades, mines and bombs) they have extremely powerful Mages, soldiers who are on speaking terms with actual physical gods (the Patron god of Assassins for one) and ,as of Memories of Ice, at least two Ascendants who are allies.

Not sure if anyone's suggested this yet, but....Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Aim for every point in time and space while stationed in a different galaxy, wiping out any resistance or future resistance. All while sporting a pair of cool shades.

Well, the angelic army beat them the first time around, which is how they ended up in Hell in the first place, so let's ask the experts I say. Of course, there's some debate on whether they are fictional, and if Hell exists they definately aren't fictional anymore.
Damn, yeah, I was going to go with that, but of course, if Hell exists, then yeah, the Angelic Host wouldn't be fictional. Bugger.
Not those, these:
.
They are faster than demons and archdemons, which means they always get to move and attack first, they deal double damage to hellspawn types (with the third or fourth highest attack power in the game), can retaliate (counterattack) as many times as they need, AND they can resurrect each other.

Oh yeah, and as long as you have resources, you have an infinite number of them.

If you can't have the real angels, take the next best thing. heh.

The Imperial Guard. All of them. That's hundreds of trillions of soldiers and hundreds of millions of massive war machines, artillery, and air power. The casualties would be horrendous, titanic even by the Hobbesian standard of the 41st millenium. But to die in the Emperor's service is to die a good death, and there are more martyrs where that came from.

Only in death does duty end.
Send Commisar Yarrick in there with them, that ought to lower the death toll by a couple of billion.
If you die you aren't fighting hard enough! Lord Castellan and Warmaster Macharius Solar would also be helpful.

Very simple:
I hide under a rock somewhere and nuke the place from a distance,
I only have to win, it's not like I wanna there afterwards..

There is but one strategy that will win this battle with no losses....

FOR VALOR! AND RAINBOWS!
