An army from Disgaea clearly, what better way to invade hell with minions of hell yourself? Also Thursday.

I'd be surprised if no one has said this yet, it seems like such an easy question to answer, but I will just send Team Dai-Gurren in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0tqGjdGYCM&list=SL

When you can take hits from energy beams on par with the birth of the universe, I'm pretty sure there isn't much anyone else can do.

If it gets tough, they can just use the Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

I'm pretty sure I just won the thread. And the war.
That show got quite silly by the end. A galaxy-sized gunmen is REALLY overkill.
There is no kill like overkill.

On an unrelated note, do you know how to embed video? I'm getting tired of just posting links.
[ youtube =(everything after the equal in a youtube video) ] and without the spaces

Definitely the Golden Army from Hellboy II. You know, the giant indestructible robots?

Umm. . . About 50 of those guys are destroyed in that clip you posted. So much for being indestructible.

The Geth. Yes like in billions of billions of geth. With the heretics at their side, and their battleships, and a lot of Primes, Snipers, Hunters and Destroyers, with Legion and Vanguard Paragorn Shepard leading the strike. And Colossus. Many, many Colossus

I believe I just won.
I see your Geth and raise you Reapers! An army of eldritch abomination synthetic organic battleships on my side sounds fun.
And I reply with Geth ships equiped with Thannix cannons, Multicore kinecting barriers and diamond armor, and all the geth have weapon and shield upgrades.

Problem?
Why would there be a problem, they are FREAKING REAPERS!!! I'm pretty sure with all their years of knowledge they know how to take out a ship with a couple of fancy weapons and defences, it took how many ships just to take down one Reaper! I GOTS AN ARMY BIATCH!!! :p

I would use the Grey Knights from 40k, litterally there only purpose for existing is to slay the daemon were ever it exists and if your going to invade hell you might as well have people with centuries if not mellenia of experience fight against there equivalent of the forces of hell.

For this I nominate Harry Dresden and his friends. I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure he'd be able to pull it off. He's kind of like Commander Shepard, he always wins.

Edit: If I could make my own army, it would be:

Harry Dresden (Baddast motherfucking wizard in Chicago)

Commander Shepard

and Revan

That's all I'd need.

Fight fire with fire, I'd bring in Diablo and his demon hordes from the Diablo games. Then I'd watch as all hell literally broke lose.

Badgermoles. In any army situation that is not a sea battle, badgermoles. Just dig and dig and dig and then BAM, out of the floor: BADGERMOLES. No one ever sees them coming, they are just too ridiculous a prospect. It's perfect.

Time to break this game.

I use Hell's army.

Well that was easy.

[sub]Well, my choice is fictional...[/sub]
Think you just guaranteed your own failure...

Your armies will be identical, but being on the defense, they'll have been fortified...
or he takes the army from hell leaving it completely defenceless.

Three words: Compulsory Execution Unit. Including the five Patrol Officers of the DRF that command the CEU.

Satan gets assassinated by two psychics, and hells army falls in the hour to the literally trillions of cloned super-soldiers.

If that doesn't work: Digimortal.

Satan gets cleaved in half in thirty seconds flat, and the rest of hell gets nuked the next day. No survivors.

Not good enough? The army of Toha Heavy Industries, the all of 45 Synthetic Human field agents.

Small unit distracts the army of hell, smaller unit performs the final assassination.

Still not convinced: Killy and Cibo.

Demons? Where? All I see is holes.

If that doesn't work out to well and all else is lost: Internecine.

Sure the first couple are an easy kill, but once you get to the fifth iteration you're dealing with a machine that can do pretty much anything at multiple times in multiple places.

My only rule was: no 40k. Seems others didn't have that restraint.

While it may have been fun to "dine in hell", remember the 300(0) also died there.

I'd have to say the Terminator machine army. If there was one fictional army I'd take the reigns from in order to conquer hell, Skynet would be it. I'd even roboticize myself in order to lead my new army.

As far as strategy goes, the T-1000 would be infiltrating and giving bad advice to the generals of Satan's armies, while just about everything else would sweep by in an endless, completely rebuildable horde of metal warriors. Missiles and lasers from the sky, slicing blades from below and millions of bullets all around. It'd be a massacre. No need for "The Art of War" when you're a literally endless army. No amount of resistance would be able to stop us, especially with so many flying machines.
