Canada or Sweden. They're relatively uninvolved in world affairs, and well, they seem like comfortable places to live in.

I'd go to Australia if it wasn't for all the deadly animals and game censorship. Maybe Canada. sure they have bears, but you're unlikely to find one in your boot.

Actually I like Iceland. I've only been there on Holiday, but it looks like a beautiful country.

There are a few places that come to mind. Either the USA, Canada, New Zealand or Brazil. I'll probably be moving to one of these within the next 5-10 years. The UK is honestly, honestly terrible.

Well, get me a ticket for the Australia bandwagon.

Why? Because it is a first world country that has plenty of open space, something that seems to be a bit of a rarity in many places these days. This matters to me because in the long run I'd like to have my, uh, 'compound' somewhere remote enough that I won't be bothered and it seems like someplace such as Coober Pedy [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coober_Pedy] or the Pilbara region [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilbara] would probably fit the bill.

Mmmm, solar powered atmospheric moisture-extractors [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atmospheric_water_generator] and underground construction, here I come!

I would totally run a Dune LARP... [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larp]

EDIT:
Oh, I'd probably also try to raise dingoes. [http://www.abc.net.au/reslib/200803/r232047_927789.jpg] No idea how well that would work, but by god I'd try.

Sweden or Britain.

Sweden is closer to Finland, and even though many finns slander Sweden, quite a many things are better there. I also speak Sweden a bit. Very little, though.

Britain, because I've always been interested in it, and I speak English quite well.

Berlin! I love that place. Everyone was so damn friendly. And there was a hardcore gig about 100 metres down the road from my hostel. Fuck yeah.

Well Im Australian but live in England so does it count if I say 'go back to..' Australia? I cant stand the cold and the constant rain for 6 months of the year.
But if I can have that I'll choose Italy.

Simple question: if you had to leave your country and pick another country to stay in for the rest of your life, where would you go?

I'd go to australia. It's safe, comfortable, christmases are 10x more awesome, and I can spend the rest of my days finding and harassing yahtzee until he replaces the imp character with my face and kills it.
hahahah i completely agree, in fact thats my life goal!

But if i had to leave australia i would probably go to America or Japan, both are centres of amazing technology and I think I could fit in with both crowds

id have to jump across the ditch to Australia because its only got 2 things wrong with it 1 they have no r18+ rating so i will have to turn to smuggling and they call ordinary things by funny names like doona for duvet and eskie for chilly bin so i will have to learn new names for stuff but other wise they are not so bad plus all my friends have to do is get the `$28 or so air fares from Auckland to where ever is cold enough for me to settle

Cananda. Western. Liberal. Technologically, economically and infrastructurally (I make up words, you read 'em, deal?) sound.

Same deal for Sweden except the high cost of living would be ball breaking.

I shall go to Ireland!

I have a lot of stalking to do...
This, as Ireland is where all the cool people who beat each other up at pubs live.

And I thought I'd gone back in time when I saw your avatar.

Sweden or Scotland.

Sweden because...dammit, everything just works! And everyone speaks English there too, or everyone I've met anyway.

Scotland because it's very similar to Ireland, especially the further North you get. It and Oop North are the only places in Britain that didn't bore the shit out of me.
GREETINGS FROM SWEDEN!
WE ARE CLOSED AT THE MOMENT DUE TO SEVERAL SEVERE BLIZZARDS WHICH HAVE TAKEN THE COUNTRY BY SURPRISE THIS LAST MONTH.

THIS VIDEO WAS CAPTURED ON THE 2:ND OF FEBRUARY THIS YEAR. THE SNOW HAVEN'T MELTED YET AND SINCE THEN WE HAVE RECEIVED AN ADDITIONAL THREE FEET, WITH ANOTHER FEET EXPECTED TO FALL ON MONDAY.

Other than that it is quite comfy here :)

OT: Canada, 'cause it sounds like Sweden, only bigger and cheaper.

New Zealand, Canada, England, Scotland, Ireland or maybe the United States. Any of these would be fine.
