I think I have to say the Gamecube has been the best console to date. I have so many great memories of the large catalogue of games exclusive to gamecube in it's generation. I still play some of my gamecube games every once in awhile, and I've played through most of them several times already.

Genesis, no question. I STILL play mine even today. Though the PS2 was amazing as well, it doesn't age as well.

Playstation 2 due to the fact that some of my all time favorite JRPGs are on it...my 360 might have gotten top because of FFXIII, but it red ringing today kind of disqualified it.

I would, but since I got it used, the person who had it before me already registered it in his name, which leaves me high and dry with a $200 paper weight...may call em to see if they will do anything, but I may just say screw it and get a PS3 instead.

Ouch man...that really sucks. Only upside that I can see is that you're free from paying $15/month for a service that Nintendo and Sony offer for free. Only downside I can see from it is that you CAN'T play games online if you wanted to.

Although the xbox 360 is growing on me more and more I would still have to say the PS2 has been my frav. Such good games like time-splitters and ratchet and clank plus my PS2 never broke on me
