And you could not tell I was not being serious? ....... I know what you meant,it just hard for me to make my replay's sound like I'm teasing with out actually saying it(I guess I haven't got the hang of the forum thing, after all this is my first one) sorry about the confusion.

P.s................Hi!
Text is not a good medium for sarcasm...
yeah, this the second time someone did not get it.............I'm going to just give up trying and just write in I'm being sarcastic.
Any way thanks for being a good sport about this (the last guy had no sense of humor at all).

I guess the consensus here is that MMOs (or multiplayer games in general) and Sandbox-styled games have the most 'play forever' value.

I can understand sandbox games, that's the point of their design: the freedom to do whatever you want for how long as you want.

But why do MMOs have this value? EVE Online has been the most popular answer (I think), why? Is it a good thing to have 'play forever' value?

Not all MMO's, but EVE is the game with the most player involvement out there. Yes X3 Reunion does the same, but in EVE you do it with real people. Hence why it's a popular answer.

Out of the Park 8 (2007). Show me 7 other people with an interest in playing an online league and I'll show you a game with staying power.

Either something with a lot of multiplayer, a puzzle game, or an MMO.
Couldn't choose, honestly.

I'd probably play a game called "Use the Search Button"
Oh I've heard of this one, but apparently most people on this forum lately hate that game with a raging passion.

Assassins Creed had some of the best sandbox gameplay ever, and maybe I will eventually learn to navigate the streets by myself without the map. Normally I can learn a cities layout after a while, but in AC its just impossible.

Europa Universalis 3 with Expansion packs. With mods and it's the perfect (or near perfect) strategy game. It's the only game that I always keep installed on my computer.
