If you had to play a game forever, which game would it be?

My personal choice would be a racing or sporting game as there are infinite possibilities on how to win

If I could, maybe Bad Company 2 online. Or fallout 3 with no level cap and an infinite number of quests.

Fallout 3, Oblivion, Sims 3, or maybe Red D.R.
those games are all either very long or endless

I would kill myself. That is assuming that there is no escape or any other form of interaction.

Isn't there any expectation for users to search for similar threads in this forum? Seriously?

This thread is one day old. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.199122-If-you-had-to-play-1-game-for-the-rest-of-your-life

I think I would just read more and when I play I would pick a really deep RPG that has lots of side quests and lots of extra things to do, like Star Ocean (cos you can invent and make stuff, etc) and because level grinding in Star Ocean is fun!

Hmmm that Fallout 3 with unlimited level cap sounds pretty good.

Any sort of non-linear game probably, would leave me more time to explore.

Probably Dungeons & Dragons, the original pen and paper RPG. The only type of game with truly infinite possibilities.
