If you had your own radio show, what would it be about?

I study journalism and media at a university, in Sweden. We have a student radio, where I send my own show, every other week. It can be listened to locally in the town I live, but also online.
It's mostly me talking about whatever I feel like and playing metal music. Last time I talked about the bronie subculture and MLP.

I was wondering. If you could make your own radio show, what would you want it to be like? What would you talk about? What kind of music would you play? What kind of person do you want to listen to it?
I do have my own radio show.

I talk rarely, I mainly let the music do the talking. Not saying what sort of music, because that might help some people identify the show, and if they can do that, they could potentially identify me, which I don't want - at least, not on here.

The kind of person that I want to listen to it is the kind that appreciates it and doesn't ring up and make requests or want to have long conversations while I'm in the middle of DJing. A few times while shopping I've been recognised by the checkout girl just from my voice alone which is kinda cool, if a little creepy sometimes, maybe if more girls who worked at checkouts listened to my stuff that would be good.

Yeah, it's pretty much the same here in Sweden, mostly new pop music. Though there are some channels that play rock and a little metal.

I think it sounds like a great idea!

I do it for free, since it's student radio, so being succesful isn't really something I think about. We're allowed to say whatever we want, as long as it isn't too extreme in some way. I try to be provokative and talk about things that no one else talks about. If I was doing it as my job, then I would probably not talk about the same things. I don't know how many listeners I have, but they say that there's about 10.000 people that get that channel on their radio. I've heard it being played on the buses in my town as well. I'll take a look at that link. =)

I like shows where they play music, as long as it's not on a channel with commercial, because I don't like commercials in the middle of songs or in radio at all. We have some channels here in Sweden, that doesn't have commercials.
