The us army does not consent.
so unless you buried an army with that document i do not think the people with the guns will care about your claim very much ^^
While that is true, there's nothing to stop you from burying some terrible alien army under what will later beome US cities and...

No, that'd be like the Tom Cruise version of War of the Worlds. Don't do that.

I'd use it purely for sight-seeing.

Curiosity killed the cat? Well what if the freaking cat can travel through space and time?

I would go back to 1940 and try to warn the British and French high command that the Wehrmacht plan to push through Belgium and Netherlands, paradoxes and Red alert be damned.

Is the time-line as lenient as it is in the series? I mean with the wibly-wobly timey-winey thingy? Or is it more, harm 1 butterfly and a tornado happens somewhere?
I believe the TARDIS actually helps make sure time isn't derailed, it's was shown to be able to hold a significant paradox in check for the Master (though with some extensive meddling).

Id use it as a house for starters. I'd probably got to the future and store all the (best) books and games and stuff like that from the next 150 years inside. Then I'd grab some random tech and become filthy rich on the patent.

Than I'd just mess around through history. High five alexander the great, stuff like that.

All of time and all of space? Everything that ever happened and ever was? The first thing I'd do would be to go back far enough to visit the dinosaurs. After that I'd probably explore deep out into space until I discovered an alien civilization. Then I'd put the controls on random and let the TARDIS take me where I was needed most. Not that I have a "god complex" or anything :p

I'd watch the moon landing from the front row. I would also try to get into the camera range, to keep the internet troll arguments going. (You know, because I wouldn't be wearing a spacesuit or anything).
And world cup final 1966.
And then I think I'd check out some historical events.

I'd go back to see queen live at wembely and at live aid, then maybe go back to the glorious days of the british empire and warn them of america and what it will begin, try and make them as big as the brittanic empire in code geass

Literally drop in on Hitler during a big speech. Don't even get out, just materialize a British police call box about ten feet overhead and SQUISH.

Then warp out to see a man about a grassy knoll. -:D

If i had a tardis i'd live in it.

I'd scour me some gold from the solar systems supply to cover my expenditures (food, internet etc).

And i'd never leave it. unless i'm going to buy something.
This basically. The TARDIS is like an awesome mansion that can go anywhere and anytime. Why would you only use it once? Personally I'd leave the randomizer on unless there was someplace specific I needed to go.

Looks like someone hasn't seen one of the new episodes yet :p

I'd go everywhere. Also find some way of extending my life, either as a robot or through awesome futurey gene therapy etc. Also go and find somewhere that can kit me out like Adam Jensen. Cause that's just badass. Also make a lot of money.

Travel to next week, get the winning lotto numbers. Travel back to now, buy tickets with said winning numbers. Live life of comfort. Bury TARDIS in a nice secure spot where nobody else will be able to find or use it.

Seriously though, I wouldn't even attempt traveling very far forward or back, or even moving very far from my starting point, mostly because what I watched of the series made it seem that the TARDIS was actively trying to kill the Doctor by putting him in the most dangerous situations possible.
