numero uno all the way
Dragon Age Origins is one of my favorite games

Category 2 is my second choice I could live with Tales of the Abyss

Category 3 can suck it though I'm not getting stuck with Call of Duty
DA:O is one of my favorite games as well, but it's because of the brilliant gameplay. These things are rather subjective.
a lot of the combat revolves around not getting stunlocked.

That never stopped me from enjoying it
I don't feel that way. Even if I did see a noticeable amount of that: I'd say that's a very minor part of the gameplay.

Number 2. You don't really need to be flashy if you can have fun.

Personally Number 3 doesn't bother me when I'm playing fighting games.

Can't believe everyone hates on graphics.

Good graphics provide something called immersion. Immersion = Escapism. Escapism = the reason why I play games.

Look at uncharted 2. It's an excellent example of number 1.

The graphics came close to crysis, and the story came close to an Indiana Jones flick.

The gameplay? Ok, whatever. Nothing truly special there; generic 3rd person shooting.

And it won game of the year, and got over 50 10/10 reviews.

Presentation over gameplay for me.

2 or 3, depending on the game. I like a good story, but particularly in FPS I don't mind if the story sucks as long as it's easy to ignore. If it's something more RPG-like, I'll be happy to sacrifice some graphic goodness for story.

Between a game with

1)Bad gameplay,good graphics/story
2)Bad Graphics,good Story/gameplay
3)Bad Story,good Gameplay/Graphics

Which one would you choose?

Me i would choose the 3 because i don't care too much for the story in a game
Since I've had games that are good on all points, why do I need to make such a choice in the first place?

Really depends on the individual game. I'll give some examples that could fall in these categories.

Category 1: Indigo Prophecy
Category 2: Original Twisted Metal Games
Category 3: Elite beat agents

All great in their own merit, but vary wildly.

I can't decide between 2 or 3.

Yeah, a good story can make a game really special, but quality of gameplay is still WAY more important to me. I mean, look at games like Elite Beat Agents, Katamari Damacy, any music game, Fallout 3 (I hated the story, deal with it), Borderlands, Left 4 Dead, and many, many more: They have either very little story, a crappy story, or aren't even focusing on any story whatsoever. But are they still fun games? Hell yeah!

But on the other hand, I'm not exactly a graphics whore. I can enjoy anything from the original Disgaea (on a 32" TV seven feet from my face, nonetheless) to Shadow of the Colossus to Mass Effect 2, and not give a flying shit about the quality of the graphics, good or bad. Yeah, they can add to the immersion and your overall enjoyment of the experience, but as long as the game doesn't completely rely on them instead of focusing on the fun aspect, I couldn't care less.

Yeah, sorry if that was a bit of a ramble, it made sense in my head.

I'd go with number 2. To me, a good story is what makes a game memorable and stand out from others. Good gameplay makes the game more fun than frustrating. Plus, bad graphics are easier to fix. That's what remakes are for.
