if i know stuff, and people ask, i tell, if im allowed. it doesnt matter if its peoples phone number, the origin of everything or todays menu, i dont really make such big issues of it.

id be glad that i found that origin though, since almost all knowledge is interesting.

I would hide the truth in the Tower of Babel.

That's a J.A. Kerley reference more than a religious one. But seriously, that is what I would do. I would leave it out in the open, so that it would not be seen.

You should understand if you think about it.

I'd release the proof to a few trusted individuals who can spread my word that all religions are false. I would want the money and to disprove the religions, but the backlash sounds pretty horrible.

No, I'd try to find a way of getting said money, whilst anonymously dropping the information to the world; whatever the result may be.

why would the seeing of the creation of the universe prove there is no god? last time a checked you could just as easily be showing the word that there is a god, dammit i read the posts for five seconds and im already seeing comments about humanity being saved without having to worship false idols, can we go five minutes without disrespecting a religion or ones without one? i know this is athiest heavy site but jesus christ show some respect for those that arnt at least

Last time i checked it was humanity, not religion, where all the hate is from, getting rid of religion wont fix anything, if anything it will create more hate, Funny ole word aint it.

If i had the secret to the creation i would keep my mouth shut because who they hell would believe me? what.. did i bring a cam recorder or something?
Now you're just being touchy, my friend. The choice of how it goes is up to you; if you want it to prove your God then that's dandy. This is a game, a very personal game. If you're going to have a hissy-fit every time someone even suggests there may be no God, then all you're going to end up doing is coming across as a religious nut-job; the kind that makes death-threats to David Attenborough for not acknowledging their favourite deity in the creation of animals.

Also, I couldn't find a single post before yours that went "Finally, we can stick it to them damn Christians."

And, finally, the use of the words "Jesus Christ, have some respect for people that aren't [athiets]" made me emit dangerous levels of pure-irony.

For some people religion is the only hope they have - it's not their fault they jsut have little else to believe in - I would only use this knowledge to stop extremists.

If people were going to come after me, I'd carry a gun for protection.

I'd share it, take my money, take a bow and go to sleep.

Honest answer:
1. Check my results.
2. Using experts from around the world check my results.
3. Use a popular television scientist or science enthusiast look over the results.
4. Go over the results and plan any implications on religions.
5. If I could, take the proof and experts to affected religions, see response.
6. Take proof, experts to UN. Allow for debate
7. Using television personality as a spokesperson make public globally on television.

Theoretical implementation time about 2 years. Although part 5 could extend this to up to 4 years and part 6 another 1.
Fair enough. At least your thorough with your response.

Which I can understand and that is a perfectly reasonable response. In your case I wonder how you'd be able to stop extremists whilst allowing people to maintain their religious beliefs? If anyone has an idea that would help out the thread a little more.

Unfortunately I don't think there is a way to do that. Even if you did, what would stop the extremists destroying religion out of spite? They are angry hatefilled people to begin with, the just use religion as an excuse.

I got the feeling that's what you wanted. For a truth like that, I'd side with the "world has a right to know" population, but, letting them know would have to be handled very delicately, as to avoid half of your post. Besides, who could be mad with someone like Richard Hammond (UK TV personality that I'd have in mind) breaking to them the meaning of the life, the universe and everything?

1. Post it all over the internet.
2. Get shot.
3. Get depressed that there truly is no heaven and I proved it.
4. Die.

I would never speak the truth but present what I know as a theory to close friends. If I were to try and convince people my time will be wasted. But since in point 1 you mentioned undeniable proof then I will just present it and get my name in the history books as the guy that explained the beginnings.

Probably be bigger than Dawrin.

If anything i said seemed hostile that is not the case, such is what is wrong with the internet, the first part of my comment was simply explaining that it could mean the proof of god as much as anything else, that was all, i should use the enter key more.

and nothing was directed at you two, rather the words "imagine all the wasted time of humanity I could save by them not having to worship a false god anymore. It's to be expected that people would devote their time to more useful endeavors", the amount of anti-thesis threads we've been getting as of late is annoying to say the least, a short fuse is understandable.

and no there is no irony, you misread what i said, i did not say that athiests do not deserve any respect in anyway.

and no i am not going to become a extremeist for simply stating what i stated

i dont go around saying all nonbelivers will boil in hell for all eternity, you can say you dont beleive, it really doesnt matter, its freedom of choice, but claiming them to be flase gods and saying "they can do something useful with their time" is just a below the belt punch that is unessacary.

and i know you two didnt say anything like that.

You've defused this situation calmly, with logical thinking, and I thank you for it.
