There seems a lot of negativity on this board so let's try and open our minds to other avenues of mental stimulation. It could be anything from games to hobbies to bands to films to booze. I've discovered all kinds of crazy films and anime from other peoples recommendations...not all of it...classic, I'll be honest. But if you don't try it you won't know.

Ozzie horror /thriller about a guy who gets his sexual kicks by feeding up women to to be dangerously obese with promises of marriage etc. He himself is being hunted by a cop with his own sexual peccadilos. There are some sick ideas in the film and it's been overlooked with the current fascination with Gorenography. Superb ending, too.

If you liked vertical scrolling shooters like Raptor: Call of the Shadows, you should try Astro Avenger II. Nice graphics, plenty of bullet hell, levels are broken down into nice bits so you can play for just a short time if you want.

Working on doing a review of it for the proper forum in the next few days ^_^

I think this section is more for the obscure games people haven't heard of, and the brave few who bit the bullet and tried them out. Like if there was a new game like Freelancer, I would be all over that. I also tend to be the source in my circle for new games and what classics to revisit.

On a more serious note, if you liked Star Wars: Empire at War, you should give Star Wars: Supremacy a go. Not as pretty, but much more strategic and generally more awesome. It actually manages to feel like Star Wars; something not easily done.
