If you made a game what would it be like?

With the age of the sequel clearly dominating the video games charts i wondered if you could make a game what would it be like, who would the characters be, what would the story be, what type of game would it be. (Also think about who would voice your characters, i would totally get Morgan Freeman to voice it he is the god of voiceovers.)

If I made a game, it would be another Wii simulator type game. You're mii would shoplift, and it would be voiced by an angry german guy.

Well you'd go around different disney world killing monsters with a giant key... oh wait.


Um it'd probably be a third person hack'n'slash with guns and swords and more upgrades/combos than you could shake a stick at.

my game would reqiure a whole new system entirely, and it would be virtual reality, set in the 13-14 century, with AMAZING motions controlls, and a suit that makes you feel like your being cut (okay maybe just vibrations or a push) and the game would take place over ALL of the world being HUGE and in real time

I always liked the idea of a fps/rts like natural selection. One person controlling the building/upgrading of stuff and commands the rest where to go to attack/defend, with birds eye view. The rest get put in squads and can follow directions from the commander or ignore them and attack a different way, in first person.

Tactical RPG (like Final Fantasy Tactics or Disgaea), with a swords and magic fantasy setting, but with GOOD GRAPHICS, and a mature story.

I'd incorporate a momentum system (heavy units can knock down light units, running units hit harder, etc), cover, possibly stealth, although everything else is pretty much details.

I would find a way to combine CoD4 and Civilization 4. I don't know how it would work, but it would be awesome.
Maybe go back in time and conquer the world through large first-person battles and world-view tactics?

If I made a game it would be rubbish because I know nothing about making games...I mean...But if I could I would make "The Hugh Jackman torture chamber" for the Nintendo Wii. It might not get Nintendo's official stamp of quality but it does come with a range of sharp controller extentions to help immerse you in the experience.

Short answer: shit.

I actually just made a game. Our group handed in our Game Development project at uni today.

Grand visions of an awesome side scrolling 2d beat 'em up 7 months ago, eventually boiled down to a 5 minute demo that was severely lacking in awesome, but at the very least didn't crash at any point. Wich is something our broken spirits now consider some measure of success.

Making games is hard yo. ;(
