I'd have a couple of ideas. One is Ultimate Nascar, and it's complicated, but I'll try to explain it. Imagine a big racing oval, except on the long parts of the oval (on both sides) there are football fields. People play football on these, except they're armed and allowed to kill whoever they want in the process of scoring a touchdown. All the while, racing vehicles with heavy guns speed around the track, killing each other as well as the people on the football field for points. And, just for fun, there's other random weapons strewn about the massive colisseum in which the whole event occurs, as well as sniping spots, and hidden secrets, etc... Add to this really fast respawn times, random events (alien invasions, zombie infestations, etc), and the fact that it also features an Oblivion style leveling system, so that you get experience for doing stuff in the colisseum. And, to top it off, it's an MMO. It will be chaotic, you'll have to find the secrets to uncover the plot, but if it wouldn't be fun I don't know what would.

Also, a top down RTS (think something like Age of Mythology in mechanic), I don't know if I'd want it to be a midieval theme, a futuristic theme, or maybe even a modern theme. Point is, you'd have the time to build up as much as you want. That's what always annoyed me about Age of Mythology, I was having fun sitting around building up my fortress and raising an army, but that silly enemy AI wouldn't leave me alone. Then after you've built up as much as you want you can go annhialate your enemy. It probably won't be too challenging, more like Sim City except you get to go kill people when you feel like you've built up enough.

i have a few ideas. For no reason what so ever (forget the storyline for now) You are charged with dismantling giant flying warships. With an upgradable wrench and other tools you can aquire, you dismantle the huge behemoths. I would use the graphics engine used in red faction:guerilla. Dismantle it in many interesting ways with no linear progression. So many possibilities, so much destruction

I always liked the idea of a fps/rts like natural selection. One person controlling the building/upgrading of stuff and commands the rest where to go to attack/defend, with birds eye view. The rest get put in squads and can follow directions from the commander or ignore them and attack a different way, in first person.
Empires mod for HL2?

My game would be a strategy game that involves exploding people, exploding aliens, exploding ships, exploding planets, exploding suns, and exploding galaxies.

I'm actually working on a game like that.

It's called "M.I.R.V" and that stands for Multiplayer Intense Realism Video-Game as well as a type of nuclear warhead. It will be a modern FPS, completly multiplayer and one person on each team will get to be "Commander" who cannot fight on the battle field, but does vital things like call in reinforcements, new vehicles, sandbags, barbed wire, machinegun nests, artillery and more. It's a big WIP, but I'm pretty good with the ID Tech 4 Engine so with a good team member or so it should be only a year or two of development. By that time we will be able to release it as a stand-alone game and hopefully everyone will be able to enjoy it.

In a word? Awesome.

In a few words? OMFGEPICBESTGAMEEVEROMGYOUWININTERNETS. Okay, I guess that's one word too.

I really just want some game with an epic storyline, that ultimately ends with the death of the main character, or it restarts the story at the beginning. Or else, it's some totally unexpected ending, but would still make sense. I dunno. Maybe have the character you play as really suck and the savior of the world his friend ooooor... enemy?

A game derived from a phrase coined by a famous comedian, Mongoloid Porn Inferno would be my game. I think the name speaks for itself in terms of what the game content would be.

Mine would be a sword-based action game (I refuse to use the term "Hack-n-Slash" because it reminds me of random button mashing), like Legend of Zelda, but bloodier. The main character would be a female. The plot would be simple, with an exception of at least one WTF twist. It would be an Xbox 360 exclusive, with the visual style of Madworld (Black and white, blood bright red) and Mirror's Edge, but a bit more anime and cell shaded, like Tales of Vesperia and Afro Samurai. I'm still deciding if I want a silent or talking protagonist. And instead of using one of the face buttons to attack, I want to use the left trigger button (Like in first-person games), but it would have custom controls, like DMC.

Yes, I had this planned out for a while.

You'd be a chimp/monkey/ape in the zoo that figured out how to communicate with other primates in order to synchronize a daring escape of the zoo. You will learn how to co-ordinate the driving of vehicles, how to use tools (Bananas, sticks, poo and much much more), how to read and the cruelties the humans have enacted upon your animal comrades.

I have two ideas for this. either a revolutionary war game. or a game starring a only mildly crazed man who gets his mission ideas from his schizophrenia and goes around killing people with his imaginary friends. it might play a lot like the darkness, except it would be more of a spectacle brawler

It would revolve around the lives of two protagonists.

The story would take place in the near future, where eastern Canada (Ontario, Quebec) has been reduced to a significantly barren wasteland. War is rampant through out this territory, the factions comprising of the Canadian Military, the United State Military, and perhaps the united Nations. The current war is caused by the United State's lack of fresh drinking water, something the eastern Canadian provinces have in abundance.

The main concept behind this game would be to be able to use the dual worlds feature. The only difference is that you would be switching between each protagonist, whom are on opposing sides of the factions. They never join up, and their goals run contradictory. The outcome of the story line is decided by which protagonist's current goal you complete.

At some points, the protagonists will wind up inadvertently helping each other. This would result in one protagonist ding something, like shelling the other's platoon, infantry, etc. This would do massive destruction, but also free the second protagonist from another more dangerous predicament.

It would probably end with one of the protagonists killing the other, depending on how you advanced, and what story line aspect you experienced.

Anyway, just a thought.

I would make a FPS that uses Google maps to find any city or location you want and you can fight there.
Additional features include;
Field editor similar to halo 3 forge but without stupid cash systems
Online multilayer

Go with modern warfare.
