Remember that stupid looking Gingerbread Man exo set from Advanced Warfare that everyone made fun of? Well guess what, it was a project for the Make A Wish Foundation and if you ever ridiculed it, then you are a massive dickhead.

I exaggerate, but I do truly feel like a dick now. It doesn't excuse AW's other ridiculous skins, but the fact that this was made by some kid who might not even be with us today as a way to make people happy and people shit all over it makes me wish Sledgehammer had handled the situation differently. Like, just a nice note or something.

I share the same feeling. I think Infinite Warfare has already put one foot into the grave with the ridiculous shit it has in just the beta. Their "Tactical Pink" camo looks both ugly and like the game forgot to load a texture. But for this one case, I don't mind. Although while it is admirable they didn't go public for attention, I feel that Sledgehammer screwed it up and adding skins like Samurai, Clowns, and apparently even Pirates. They devalued the purpose of having a "special" skin.

As a non-CoD person, I wasn't even aware of this. That said, I find it amusing for its novelty, which I assume was part of the goal.

It does look silly, there is a way to take the kids design and take an "artistic license" with it or take the core principle of it and make it look good for the kid.

I mean, there are pics on the net of people who make kids drawings into stuffed animals and they look like the evil kid from toy story got a hold of spore ...

Kids aren't great artists, so taking the literal design and pasting it onto a model of a COD soldier doesn't do the kid justice.

In my humble opinion, I think you should have made it like a sack buy with a jet pack for the boosting stuff. This just looks creepy AF, big hollow eyes and a huge red smile is a halloween costume.

Let's play a little The Devil's Advocate once again:
Label someone who doesn't like something "An Assh*le" just because he/she doesn't know the story behind it, it isn't fair.
Yes, respect for the desire of the developers to include a skin as a gift for the child. Very nice and thoughtful.
However the real and hard fact remain: just because this skin is special, doesn't mean we automatically must like it.
I won't feel bad just because I don't like the look/feel of a skin [btw I don't dislike it, it look nice to me]. Don't so oversensitive. Power to all of you who support this skin. The question is this however:
Do you like the skin or this is just an act? A White Lie perhaps?

This is the game with zombies, mechs, Kevin Spacey, press x to grieve, and people think a gingerbread man clothing thing takes the biscuit too far? Gingerbread skins were in timesplitters anyway. I think people just like to belittle as many things as they can to gain slight feelings of superiority. Am sure a lot don't realise they're even doing it though. Maybe the knowledge behind this would make people think a little more beforehand, but I doubt it.
