Exactly the same thing happened to me with my first playthrough as a mage. I used to dread long dungeons due to the fact that my mage was really weak for its level, and I didn't like to use potions. In the end, I ended up with over 100 strong health/magicka restore potions before finally returning the slideback down to normal.Rossmallo said:I had the difficulty slider in Oblivion about a centimeter and a half to the right (harder), but...Recently, I've had to turn it down to get anywhere. Argh.
Sorry easy modes just feels like the game is playing itself, which I hate.gmaverick019 said:herp derp because games are solely about competition and not about just relaxing and having fun, right, right?Serving UpSmiles said:Wow not enough try hards in this thread, Easy/Normal mode is for pussies most of the time, Ramp it up to Hard/Extreme and then we'll talk.
nice one, there is a difference between trying your best and having fun and being "hardcore bro mode" and smashing your dignity to bits playing insane mode on every game.
I think a game that presents a tactical challenge is more fun. Being invincible and walking though the game isn't fun for me.TestECull said:Nope! I play on the easiest mode and I don't give a shit what others say about that. I'm not here for a challenge, I'm here for some fun.
