so i watched the launch trailer a few days ago and was surprised when i saw the satellite explode and you were there in space.

So what are your guys thoughts about this?

I swear the dude was wearing a spacesuit and no guns, leading me to believe that it was a cutscene.

It's the international space station - that much is certain, no word on how it fits into the story but it seems to be a non-interactive cut-scene similar to that in CoD4

It matters not anyhow, as the spoiler was given away in the trailer.

It would have been so much cooler in the game of we weren't expecting it now.

I expect it to be similar to that of "Shock and Awe" from CoD4. It'd be badass to have space battles though.

This is probably like the nuke aftermath mission in CoD4, you probably just walk around in space a bit, and then it happens.

Well they have missiles that can shoot down satelites so maybe its a cutscene about the invasion of america and the try to cut off communications?

Anyway, yeah I do think it's one of those semi-interactible cut-scenes like Shock and Awe. You'll probably control that astronaut for a bit, floating around, and then kaboom.

I would lose ALL respect for IW if they did that..........ive got good old Halo for Aliens, I reley on COD for my dose of friendly middle-east/russian/american slaughter
