As the title states, if you were a Pokemon Trainer, and you had the opportunity to train with any gym leader, which one would you choose?

Personally, I think I'd choose Roxie. Why? Cause her gym is a damn rock club.

Oh, and for those who need it, here's a list of every gym leader:

I'd have to go with Jasmine's Steel gym. Steel Pokemon are a hell of a lot of fun,(Megneton, Steelix, who doesn't win?) plus Olivine is a pretty awesome place to live.

probably the water gym from Ruby/Sapphire.

It's full of women and I can troll people with the ice floors (the last floor always pissed me off).

Probably either the Humilau Gym in Sinnoh because I am a die-hard water trainer and I maybe could get a chance to use my Favorite pokemon, the Feraligatr.

or failing that Blue's gym in Soulsilver/Heartgold gym because I think it's any type of pokemon.

I would overthrow Jasmine. I like steel types and provided there's no hard feelings I get the feeling Jasmine would be cool to hang out with.

Why would I want to join a gym? If I did that I'd have to spend the rest of my life standing in one spot.

That one owned by the ninja bloke in the first game :|

I'd just stand their, perfectly visible trolling people across the gym. Or, you know, become a fuck-mothering ninja.

That's one thing I really liked about the Unova Gym Leaders: there gyms also served a practical purpose (except the ice leader. I know he's an actor, so there's not much room for a gym to reflect that).

As for me, I'd go with Elesa's Gym from the first Black and White. Electric types are my favorite type, and the gym is a freakin' amusement park. And Nimbasa City is a decent place to live. Plus Elesa is pretty easy on the eyes.

I would have to say Clair, because dragon types are always awesome. They are able to do just about anything too: Fly, conjure fire, swim, and are incrediblely strong.

Lt Surge!

He is bad-ass and uses Electric Pokemon, the best type of Pokemon! (Raichu is my favorite Pokemon)
He is also one of the hardest gym leaders for me (along with Blaine) in Soul Silver!
But then you'd have deal with all those trash cans :)

OT: hmm... This a weirdly hard question for me. I guess I'd choose Blaine, Brock, or Blue from Silver. Blaine because I like Fire pokemon, but also because I could make up stupid pokemon riddles. Brock because Brock is awesome outside the anime, and Blue because I can't stand having to use only one type of pokemon. Blue would obviously ne my first choice, but the others are fine too.

Misty's, because she was my first fictional crush.

Though...I have no idea what a decent, well balanced Gen 1-2 Water-type team would look like.

Sabrina's.

I've always been a fan of Psychic pokemon, those and ghost pokemon.

Brycen, probably. The man himself was a pushover, but despite Ice being massively underpowered, I do like it as a type. I find that An Ice Persons ( http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AnIcePerson ) tend to be interesting characters.

I remember first fighting Elesa and KO-ing one of her Emolgas.

Join a Gym? Are you nuts? Sure, I like having to stick to one theme for my Pokemon. With that said, I'd then have to search far and wide for a good gym with not set theme.

Found it:
Viridian City Gym From Second Generation(Gold/Silver/Crystal)

It's run by Gary Oak Blue, the rival of the first gen games. And I want the second gen, not the fourth gen, because his gym doesn't have any gimmicks or puzzles. All you do is walk up and challenge him. He's got a League Champion lineup because he actually was the League Champion... for like... five minutes. He's also got wisdom and humility from being beaten by Ash Red.

He'd make a great teacher that could lead me to being the champ someday.
