A MacGyver theme? Like each time you just use whatever happens to be lying around, but it *can't* be the simplest solution. Like if you're in a shed you can't just use a hammer or something, you have to do something that involves weed killer, sand, matches, old newspapers, iron oxide and a bicycle frame.

Now I need to go wash my mind out, because whenever I think about things like this (how would I murder someone, how would I cheat...)I am always mildly depressed at how many ideas spring to mind...

I would tie my victims up, use hooks to keep their eyes open, and force them to watch terrible movies until they beg for death. Then, and only then would I end their suffering with a gunshot to the head, gouge out their eyes and leave the TV on with the last thing they watch still in the DVD player and playing. well to be truly honest i would never be able to bring myself to killing nice/innocent people id end up going after D-bags and other murderers aaaaaand my thing would be that id hang my victims using their own intestine sadly i have no idea what i would refer to myself as so your all free to come up with what you will.

i have a friend who'd carve a number into the body of her victims (correspondiing with the victim number). at 100, she'd pop out of a box with a sign saying '0' next to the hanging corpse with '10' carved into it. then run like shit.
me, my thing would be to dress them up as unicorns.

I would be called the Fury of the flames I would target anybody at anytime to start I would invade their home and wait for them in their own house. When they get home I would chloroform the person and when they woke up they would be restrained in a chair. The first thing they see is me holding a lighter over the floor (which is dowsed in gasoline or kerosene) and I would ask him/her if they had anything to confess if yes I would let them speak if not than I would drop the lighter and let them burn. as a calling card I would leave an ace of spades.

Wouldn't even be that hard. Pick people you have no connections to so there's no clear motive. Take care to wear gloves and a hairnet so you won't leave behind fingerprints or hair. Make your move at a time when the victim is isolated so there are no witnesses. Use chloroform to incapacitate, take them to a secure location, kill, drain the blood, dismember, burn, and grind the bones and teeth into powder and dump the whole thing into a river.

And yes, I have put a disturbing amount of thought into this.

No, that's a reasonable amount of thought.
