I would create the "Kill everything" game.

You can design your own character and you use every weapon in existence including:the crowbar, pipe, wrench,BFG 9000,Gravity gun, chainsaw, and a hell-of-a-lot of more.

Something similar to fable, where you could be good or evil, but to draw a better line on it:
You are a mercinary, there is a war between two kingdoms (one clearly good, and one evil). You can higher yourself out to either side, and gain relations with them, getting better paying missions and higher in the armys ranks, but at anytime you can switch sides. The enemy wont let you in (obviously, the more you work for one side, the more the other side will hate you). This will open up double and even triple agent missions where you can assassinate, infiltrate, cause arsen, and such forth. And what side you choose changes the story over time, and if you are tricky, you can mess up both sides and have them kill each other off.

I think controls would be similar to assassins creed for running around town and such, but different when you are in combat, possible more like fable 2 or a mix of the two games. Instead of levels you can get new skills and gear (stolen, traded or legitimate sales). And like assassins creed and fable, you can just go into a town and kill off people and guards for the fun of it (which would curry favor to the other kingdom not getting its citizens killed)

Mine would be a joint project between Dice the division of EA that did C&C 3 Tiberium wars(was it EA: LA?) for a co-op only shooter set in the Tiberium universe. The players(maybe 64 total) vote on which team they would like to play as(either GDI or Nod) and vote on a map to play on. The side you will be facing is determined by the map. For example, If you chose Nod then if you pick a certain map it might be GDI or vice-versa, however some maps might require you to fight the Scrin regardless of which side you choose.

The maps themselves are limited to the Nod or GDI base consisting of all you standard buildings fom Barracks to Tech centers as well as a perimeter of turrets surrounding the buildings. Inside this area are vehicle spawns that include pitbulls(scout and AA), predators(tanks), APC('s?), Orcas(bomber), Firehawks(fighter), V-35's(Aerial transport), and the occasional Mammoth tank or their Nod counterparts that players can use to defend the base. There are also an array of different turrets on the perimeter which are automated unless a player enters one.

As for the players, they select a class and a spawn point as they would in Battlefield. These classes include Rifleman, Missile Soldier(GDI) or Rocket soldier(Nod), Grenadier(GDI) or Black Hand(Nod), Zone Trooper(GDI) or Shadow Team(Nod), or finally Commando. Though there would be necesary adjustments to units to allow players to defend themselves such as a grenadier getting a shotgun or rocket soldiers getting a pistol. Each class would also have differences in health and stamina. Players are also formed into different size squads depending on their class. Rifleman are formed into six man squads, Anti-armor/air soldiers are formed into two man teams, specialists(Black Hand and Grenadiers) are organized into four man squads and the heavy infantry(Zone troopers and Shadow teams) are as well. However commandos are not put into any squad and work alone.

Players must work together to fight off waves of enemy units of all kinds until the end of the game. One player however doesn't fight on the ground and is the commander. The commander works similarly to how you would normally play C&C. The commander rebuilds destroyed turrets and issues orders to the other players. These orders are not mandatory but they award extra points to the squad that it is assigned that the commander can put towards rebuilding turrets, using support powers like shockwave artillery, or training A.I enginneers to repair structures.

At the end of a game points are tallied up to show who had done the best that game, a sort of competetive metagame.

So...um...yeah thats what I got so far.

Mine would be a free-roam game in Europe. Thing is, most likely a "Choose your own superhero and develop" thingy, You first start up by choosing which country you come from, then what kind of character and such things, and by the things you do, where youre born, how you created your character, the fate of mankind will be decided. Quests can only be given to you if you come from there and there, you get the pic. Then, when you have chosen what country and such. Say you start in Switzerland, for example Bern. You are totally regular and boring. You go around and you get beat up by some random dudes and you choose to get strong and awaken a latent power and blah blah blah from anime if thats what youre into, you can chose why you become a superhero, and then when you have, you need to gain xp to gain skills. then you need to use the skills to get xp, then you use the xp for clothes and costumes as well, and mabye a sidekick / gf / granny, whatever hits the spot. Everything can be destroyed, and you can create villans and superhero-comrades if youre that nerdy and want something more out of it. Epic storytelling onwards and looooong game with a climatic battle between you and your Sidekick / gf / granny cuz you were bad and they were good or vice versa. Ka-boom you go on a rampage of a boss fight and the entire world becomes your battleground, you can obviously go anywhere in the world from the start, but not GO. Fly, swing, teleport, etc. how about that for a game?

Tactical RPG. Such an under-used genre of awesomeness.

Something like if Final Fantasy Tactis and Tactics Ogre had a child.
