[I'm already a pagan polytheist, so I'm going to leave the traditional mythology stuff out of the equation.]

I'd worship Shinigami-sama from Soul Eater. I like a friendly, fair, deity with a sense of humor. :]

Guys - the Greek gods aren't fictional. They were real world gods, they were really worshiped, and are still worshiped by pagans world wide.

I don't mind you guys, since (as a modern worshiper of the Greek gods) I'm rather pleased that you guy would pick some of the gods I worship to worship yourselves. But they still aren't fictional. Neither is the Christian god, guys - he's really worshiped (we're not talking about existence here, we're talking about real religions).

So, on Fictional deities... I'll go with Calistria from the Pathfinder Campaign Setting. ^^ Goddess of lust, vengeance, and wasps.

I'd just like to say that a "Fictional God" is redundant.

Flying spaghetti monster.

OT: Due to the Percy Jackson series, I'm okay with the Greek gods.
who says they're fictional? lol excellent choice in my opinion, i like the idea of flawed gods, but to label any group's god as fictional is a little silly, seeing as none of the gods have ever been definitively proven to exist

I don't think I could ever bring myself to worship any god that let the world go through everything that has happened to it. If such a god existed, it would be unworthy of even the slightest respect.

The Laughing God

I mean can it get any cooler?

You know your god is watching over you because you still have your soul.

As good a post #666 as any could be. Although, you should edit it to just read SATAN! WEEEEEE

I like the ones claiming current religions cant be said as an option. What exactly makes them less fictional than say...oh I dunno, any one stated in this thread?

OT: I already do, and its called the flying spaghetti monster.

The Triad (Torm, Tyr, Ilmater) from Forgotten Realms

Why?

Torm has a giant dragon. Plus, he killed Bane during the Godswar (Time of Troubles)

Ilmater is basicaly Jesus. I mean, damn.

But Tyr? This mo-fo had the balls to stand up to Ao before the Godswar and had his eyes plucked out as a result. He lost his hand to a demon-hound-thingy. And does that stop him from kicking unholy ass? NO!

That, or Kelemvor. I agree with his dogma about death not being a punishment, only part of the natural order of things.

Wasn't Zeus a serial rapist? Or was that little detail removed from the books?

OP: Someone already said God Emperor of Mankind but only before the Horus Heresy. But that wouldn't be worship so much as hanging around a really cool guy.

Also inb4 these two:
Glory to Princess Luna, down with the Solar Harlot! Also, I enjoy being given extremely vague orders so I'll also worship Inglip.
