I would be the bassist in a band called 8 Percent... wait a minute... I am in a band... and it is called 8 Percent. What a coincidence.
Hold on, this could be serious.
Are you the bassist?

On topic: I can't say, it's too creative, you're minds would melt and then you'd get an instrument and start a band just to get a chance to use it.

The Orgasmic Thyroids for a punk band.
Rape Victims for a shock rock band.
and for a band i would actually be in: Forge. Simple, yet meaningful IMO.

I'm in a band.

We're The Tailors.

We wanted a throwback to the simpler days of the 80's, when you could get away with a name like The Carpenters or The Men Without Hats.

I'd call us "The 4" because really there are four of us in the band= 1 lead guitarist, 1 bassist, 1 drummer and 1 vocalist

I am in a band. It's called The Angel Machine, in honour of my mother, who passed away last year.

Sorry if that was a buzzkill.

I'm currently recording stuff under the name of Stoplight Eyes.

...well, 'recording' might be a bit of stretch. I just take songs and hack them to bits in a free audio editor. BUT. I will soon be doing stuff to some old songs I recorded under a much sillier name in the past, so watch this space I guess.

Scrubs kicks ass
There used to be a band here in Columbus called 16 ***** Pileup. Used to play with my all-time favorite band name, Statutory Ape. Holy fuck how I wish I had beat Corey to that name...

My band named itself Prime Directive after a Misfits lyric (prime directive, exterminate the whole human race) and our lead singer went along with it grinning the whole time, never revealed to us that most people would assume it was a fucking Star Trek reference. Now we're in a band called The Gallows and we know damn well of at least three other bands with the same name and no one plans on doing anything about it. Makes me sad how fucking lazy we are.
