@Stranger: I once had a laptop with a battery life of roughly 40 seconds.

It also had a broken charger since someone stepped on it and made smoke come out. YOU HAVE IT EASY!

@The unusual one: Yeah, that laptop was 4 years old back then, and I still have it 4 years later (but it has a new battery and charger). The RAM now gets completely filled by running any browser.

@Rob: My parents would still be using AOL to access web pages and their email if I hadn't installed Firefox on every bit of hardware I could get my hands on and forced them to use it.
