Heh, right....You did not win over the world, if I remember correctly. You helped bring it about, but did not do it yourself....In fact, it could be said you brought about world war, not peace.
Also if I remember correctly, immortals can be locked up for all eternity, which means any plans you have could be interrupted. In fact, I do not even think you managed to actually get to the point of immortal.
