Everyone who saw it that I know loved, loved it. and I?ve been told time and time again about the spectacle of the movie but give me a horrible remake of a horrible movie to begin with and I?ll be happy. Plus I have too many movies to get through before I think of buying anymore (Hooray for hand-me downs).
I see nothing wrong with it. It's not going to become my favourite film of all time, but I can't see why people say it's bad. I think the hype-to-quality ratio is a little extreme in this case, and that's what's causing the bashing.
