Hehe...my upbringing did that just fine in the first place.Back in the day I'd watch what I say,but now I really stopped caring...and no anonymity on the nets didn't cause that.Life did.I feel we've discussed this before...
Well, forgive me if I don't believe you, cause life gave me an overdose of paranoia. And upbringing does not remove societal barriers, it installs them.
Well it didn't do a good job...wait...I can't remember if I'm just being my sociopathic self or not...You see I like to manipulate my own personality so I can fit right in in any situation. I never really get ahead in the group (My skills need more tuning and I'm not ruthless enough...damn my mixed soul) but I'll be in it.My default personality is extremely laid back,so I can be lazy.I'm sure you can tell by now that this has driven my family insane.

Anyway...It does a very good job, it is just incredibly difficult to realize they are on or off until a certain experience happens that erases them from your mind, or makes you forget them for a short time.
Default here is cool and collected. Its always how I am, actually. Puts a lot of people off, but serves me well enough.

Ok,It's odd...I like the idea...I like the characters...I like the theme...I like magic...buuuuuuuuut, I think it's too god damn generic...There's nothing new!Ok so we have the vulnerable yet skilled lead,A dark,cold,calculating,liar,who is somehow a loving girl who is a friend,comic relief who is supposed to be the most serious of all,and lastly a use of furries,orcs,and lizard people...Oh and guess what,the humans kill,rape,and hate everything...I feel like a bad writer...
Found the problem. The humans are the asses. Why are the HUMANS always the problem? I think you need a different dark side of people.

As for the human problem...Soo...The orcs do all of the raping and pillaging?...YES!!!...so what I could do is three sections.Humans are a valuable recourse because they are the technical ones,and because they are so good at taking sides.So: Human/orc Human/Shifter Human/indifferant Human/We're not gonna share this planet with these freaks!! Orcs and shifters of coarse hate each other to all hell.
