OK, so, in the coming years, after Halo: Reach, a new Halo game will come out with a stronger emphasis on multiplayer. It will not be unlike Yahtzee's idea for a FPS/RTS blend. There will be several players in the game who play as one of two sides: Covenant or UNSC. One player from each team will be able to issue 'orders' (move to waypoint, board vehicle, etc) directly but will also be responsible for building vehicles. To do so, they will need points, which can be earned by killing members of the opposite team, controlling waypoints, or in one mode, by whoever kills more flood. (The flood will NOT be playable again, but will be featured in 2-team VS mode of Firefight called Flood Control.) In this way, the Covenant or UNSC "commander" may arm their team, as well as build small defensive structures like turrets. Power-ups like bubble shield, invisibility, and grav-jump must also be earned and can only be deployed to a unit of the commanders choosing. There will be a "fog of war" type mechanic which applies to commanders only. There will be classes (You may play as a jackal for sniping, brute for heavy assault, etc) and the fabled "Recon" UNSC class may deploy sensors that must be defended but also clear the fog of war for their commander. Analogs for the Covenant will exist as well. This game will be called Halo: Conflict. Now...
Who invented it? (See video.)
