*Pats It OK. I'm sure you will catch them at a later period. I imagine they would like to say Hi to you at some point.

@Sacman: You can doubt all you want, but it doesn't mean that you won't see them some time tomorrow.

Doubt clouds the judgement of the future that can be seen. Do not let it overtake you.

@Sacman: Your cynicism has a time and a place, and I do not think regarding this matter it is either one of those.

@xmbts: Something going on?

@Stranger: and why is that? I find cynicism to be appropriate for pretty much any instance...

@Sacman: Cynicism is a tool which loses its edge when it is used all the time. Holding it over all situations makes it into something which becomes unreasonable, which leads to the ignoring of said cynicism even if it was valid, because it is an expected reaction.

@Stranger: I find cynicism the most logical and safest root to take on any matter... expecting the worst in people or the worst outcome for a situation means that true disappointment is a rare experience... though not completely absent with anyone's fleeting moments of uncontrolled excitement and anticipation...<.<

@Sacman: Cynicism all the time may be logical and safe....but that is the problem. Humanity and life and all that occurs in it is not "safe" by any stretch of the word, and sitting back never wanting to be disappointed not only stunts your emotional growth, it also denies yourself the experiences that you could be enjoying much more if rather than sit back and be logical you instead just feel excited, or just go expect the best out of something, or hope that this time everything will work out good.

Waiting for failure or falling all the time sometimes breeds it to occur.

Heh, yeah. I'm thinking of coming back, for real this time. Unlike all those other times I came back for half a day and then disappeared again.

@Xmbts: I always figured your bah's are an indication that you're not in a good mood...

@Alpha: well I recognize you...

@Sacman: That's not the problem. The problem is that when these threads appear, I can't help myself from going through the entire thing and quoting everybody I recognise.

....THERE WERE 20 FUCKING PEOPLE ON THE FRONT PAGE ALONE THAT I RECOGNISED!

I should post there too, not that anyone recognizes me.

Also when I say 'Bah' it's usually just dismissal of whatever's being discussed.
