actually, if redlin gets the power to regenerate stuff (assuming he's not the only one in existence, I'm pretty sure society will be in it's greatest shape ever, since after every materialistic need will be supplied without effort, people will care more for the spiritual and intellectual needs of the individual and the collective, allowing us to focus on advancing humanity forward rather then arguing who has the biggest HD t.v. on the market...
so in short, redlin and co. will be considered heroes of humanity and all will be well...
