@Tizzy: Believe me they get locked because of how bad they used to be...*shivers*
They would get really bad and I side with the mods on it because it just ends up with people getting in trouble in the end which is better to stop before it is too late. Believe me flame-wars on this site get terrible and being here for 4 years I've seen how bad they've gotten. Especially at the end of 2010 to February of 2011. Those were the worst times ever for the site.
Also, nothing like my psychiatrist's office to forget to send up my paperwork to the Student Disability Services so that my professors would know how bad I can get with stress...not like they'd need to know that or anything. *flips tables*

@disaster I went to Starbucks in Vista last night as part of a BDSM gathering. Met some new people. Hung out with some I almost never get to see. And I despise coffee. Can't take cigarettes because of my asthma. and perfume aggravates my asthma too. 9 years only involved in the community online and I'm just now starting to get social. Baby steps.

@Tizzy: I'm referring to the mod hate threads that were popping up like weeds in a garden. Also, it really depends on how many reports it gets. The mods don't watch every aspect of the site. The reports let them know when they are needed. And if it is urgent then you can PM a mod, and if mods aren't online at the time then go to the staff. Used to be really involved in the forum politics, stopped though for good reason.
@Tizzy: They aren't really funny and yes they report them. It's the community that alerts the mods, so in a sense the community guides the mods to where they need to go. Sometimes though there are times in which the mods are necessary...like the time someone said I need blunt force trauma to the head and spammed it in about 40 user groups 400 times...
