Well unless there is declared war usually the Navy just goes around doing humanitarian aid. Mainly though it is Aircraft Carriers like Lincoln or Reagan that get sent out. San Diego is a military town so we see a lot of Naval ships. Think that's part of the reason why I want to do it. Plus free travel and military gets benefits pretty much everywhere.

@Para: I was always partial to the Ocean Liners myself, but Ocean Liners aren't made anymore. I believe the last one is the R.M.S Queen Mary. Queen Mary scared the hell out of me when I went to stay on there.
Also, I might be starting my job next week and if I pass the proficiency test then I'd take care of 3 semesters of Japanese which means I'd need 1 more and I'd have my minor already as a Freshman.
